The Premium Rug Pad provides a firm foundation feel underfoot, while adding a nonskid layer between an area rug and your floor. Its low profile allows area rugs to lay flat to the floor, keeping them in place and making vacuuming easier. A rug pad is recommended to prevent slipping and to keep the rug lying flat in one place

It feels thin and cheap, does little to improve my rug, and was annoyingly larger than my rug and needed to be cut down to fit appropriately(despite ordering the correct size). Truly skip this rug pad.

This rug pad is nice, and I especially like the grip feature, but it wasn't cut to size. It was very difficult to cut, and ruined my good scissors in the process. If the rug and rug pad come from the same company, they should be cut to fit each other correctly.
