Description
The Fast Fit Birkin 5/8" Easy Install Decorative Window Double Curtain Rod by Kenney is as easy to hang as a picture frame. Position the innovative brackets onto the wall and tap the included nails into place. Using nails instead of screws leaves less damage behind on the wall. The easy installation doesn't sacrifice performance, as the Fast Fit curtain rod provides excellent support, up to 25 pounds. The telescoping steel rod adjusts from 36 to 66 inches or 66 to 120 inches to fit your window. The front rod projects 3.86” while the back rod projects 1.86” from the wall. A 5/8 inch diameter double curtain rod is recommended for use with light to medium weight curtains in your bedroom or living room and adds a layered look to your window. Layering curtains gives you more control over how much light to let into your room throughout the day and provides more insulation during colder months. To layer, place heavier, decorative curtains on the 5/8" diameter front rod and lighter, sheer curtains on the back 5/8" diameter rod. Drapery Hardware Set Includes: one telescoping steel double curtain rod with decorative finials (2.86" H x 2.06" W x 2.06" H), two brackets, one center support, nails, measuring template, and installation instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just happened to be in need of a dual rod for my bedroom. I've been unable to find a rod that I didn't have to drill in the wall. The rod was very easy to install and nail in. So easy my 18 yeast old son did it. The rods are light and not heavy. Onky negative is I wish it was longer, luckily I already had an extender. Overall, I definitely love it, especially the fact that it didn't need screws to install. Will definitely purchase to use in my other rooms.

It is not super shiny but rather a duller type gloss or matte finish which is perfect and very easy to just wipe off and clean. It came with easy to read and follow instructions so set up was a breeze. It is pretty heavy but gives me confidence that my blackout thick curtains wont pull or tug on them once put up. Gives a nice touch to our renovated porch area.

It took maybe 10 minutes to install and looks great in my bedroom. It’s a nice bronze color that goes nicely with the curtains that we have. The fact that you can change the length is great. We live in historic house and every window's dimensions are slightly different. So adjustable rods are perfect because of this. The three hooks are held into place with two small nails on each hook. The curtain rods are dark bronze with gold accents.

For so long, I have hated hanging curtain rods because it can be so difficult to get the measurements right and the bar level. The Kenney set comes with a measuring guide that you place along the edge of your window frame, so you can't mess up. Additionally, each of the brackets is hung like a picture mount, with two brad's going into the wall at a downward angle instead of actual nails or screws. I imagine they will be very easy to remove by hand when the time comes and leave very little wear and tear. You can't go wrong with these! I wish the rods themselves were a little bit more heavy-duty, but given that it's a double rod and one rod only has to support one curtain, I suppose them being more lightweight makes sense. I would definitely recommend this product and will be getting more in the future!

Usually, the process of hanging the traditional brackets includes cursing and gnashing of teeth, it's one of my least favorite things to do. This fast fit curtain rod really does make installation a breeze, just tap nails into the brackets and you are done. The oil rubbed bronze rod looks really nice. The issue I have with this setup, is that on certain wall materials, the rod is left wobbly. The nails certainly do not hold as securely as the screws. Now, I believe this really depends on what kind of walls you have. We originally wanted to use this in a bedroom but the sheetrock would not hold the nail. We ended up relocating it to our laundry room, where the walls are made of wood and it's more secure but still not ideal. The curtains we used are thicker than the basic ones but no where near the 25 lb limit, and the rod is a little bowed. This is a great option for maybe those that rent or people who do not have a busy household. I really do love the idea and hope that I could try them again in the future.
