Sturdy toilet seat, but the seat has a water-based finish. Unfortunately, this is not sustainable for a bathroom setting. Now, after less than 6 months, the underside of the seat has yellowing stains that look like urine no matter how clean the seat is. The company says its 1-year warranty does not apply to the finish once the seat is installed and used. Really? Don't buy.

The cleaning instructions that are provided with all our products recommend cleaning your toilet seat with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. To disinfect the seat, you can clean with antibacterial hand soap. Bathroom cleaners are harsh and can stain the seat or take the paint off. The seat looks great and is quite sturdy I was very happy in the beginning. However the white paint appeared to be what looked somewhat caked on the side where it eventually chipped off and you can see the base which is brown so it looks like feces! Gross!! So of course it needs replacing do I bother to buy the same one cuz it looked good initially but didn't last? Nope! Very disappointed unfortunately.

I like that this has metal screws that go down into the toilet to hold it on. Hard to find that anymore. And I like the soft close, etc. The cons are the white coating on the entire piece seems really thin. It stains easily and no cleaner will remove it. The fit is slightly odd too. It has more of a lip in the back that overhangs my particular toilet incorrectly. It is a bit pricey too I felt.

I was very impressed with the sturdiness when I got it out of the package. After installation, The tough hinge assembly was constructed, so no more slamming of the seat and lid. Tilt them down, let it go, and it will slowly float to the bowl with no slam. Look at the packaging after installation, Said made in America it might be the last seat and lid you’ll ever buy.
