Saalt Reusable Menstrual Disc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It takes some time to get used to but it’s saving money and better for your body. I was on the edge about switching but I love it. I got the smaller one for a light flow. No leaks and actually quite easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still surprised with how easy and convenient it actually is as I was really skeptical at first! The only issue was with the squeeze bottle, mine didn’t work which made cleaning it on the go quite the challenge, and I purchased before traveling, so I wish I got the wipes instead. The compact sanitizer is a breeze to use though, and the disc has already saved me time and money! Super comfortable, can’t feel a thing :)

I’m in perimenopause, so my cycle has become extremely heavy. I’m also a teacher and typically have to go all day without being able to go to the restroom, so heavy periods aren’t doable with other menstrual products. This disc has been a life saver. I went through many discs before I found one that didn’t leak for me. All the disc I tried before this Salt disc looked the same size and shape, but for some reason only this one worked. It’s definitely something you get better at figuring out over time too.

Personally i don't find the increased volume made any difference to leakage or frequency of needing to empty either. Think they need to go back to the drawing board with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did tons of research before purchasing this Saalt disc. There is a reason it is the top overall menstrual disc! I was kind of afraid to make the switch but I’m pleased to report that my very first day ever using a disc went super well. It is a little tricky figuring out how to do a clean removal especially since the notch rotates away from the front but it’s not a dealbreaker since I’m still in the trial and error phase. I also used the Saalt period panty as backup but there were no leaks whatsoever. If you’re on the fence about purchasing one, just do it! The comfort and freedom is worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first period I got to use this disc on was not my normal heavy flow. With that said, it worked really well for my light flow! I am excited to see how it'll work for my heavy flow periods. I have high hopes. I did drop mine in the toilet. . . It's a bit difficult to take out at times.

Although a bit worried at first about the use, the disc offers maximum comfort and protects truly for 12 hours of time ensuring maximum safety and ease of use at the same time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a game changer! Since having kids, tampons have been super uncomfortable. So far, I've only used the disc for one period, but my cramps seemed to be less intense and I had virtually no leaks. The disc is super convenient and I love the self emptying feature. No more changing tampons every 2 hours or waking up in the middle of the night with leaks! Wish I had tried this years ago!

Goodbye post menstrual weird discharge week! Catch and remove everything right from the source and be done with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I’ve grown up, I’ve continued to look for more sustainable period options. I used a menstrual cup for the past five years. While it was a great step up from tampons, I often found it a little uncomfortable and occasionally leaky. I tried the Saalt menstrual disc for the first time and couldn’t stop telling my husband how much of a game-changer it was! I was super comfortable, to the point it felt like I was wearing nothing. Inserting it was really easy, the instructions were clear, and I pretty much perfected it after one try. I have a heavy flow, so getting used to emptying it took a little practice, but I got the hang of it by the end of my period. On the lighter days, the disc did shift slightly above my pubic bone, but just as the instructions suggested, I walked around and then was able to remove it easily. I honestly can’t recommend this product enough! (This was my first purchase of a menstrual disc and I went for the regular, even with a heavy flow I was able to keep the disc in for 12 hours)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After some practice, I find the Saalt disc is easy to insert, stays in place, and I haven’t experienced any leaks. It feels really clean and I love being able to forget about it for the day. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d tried menstrual cups on and off for years, and never got on very well with them. After having a baby it was worse, I just found the suction so uncomfortable. I was concerned about the disk as it sounded complicated. I’ve just finished my period after using this each day, and honesty it was so easy and so comfortable. It’s stress free and I couldn’t even feel it there. So happy to have finally found a solution that works for me!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The disc is amazing - no leaks and I couldn’t feel it at all once inserted. The only issue I have with it is the removable part - there’s not enough grip to it for my finger to pull it out, it just kept slipping due to the, um…internal moisture. Way too slick. I ended up having to turn my finger the other way (between my vaginal wall and the disc) to pry it out. It’s not painful, just not what I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I’m a bit disappointed. I was so excited about this disk compared to my menstrual cup and I’m just not getting the leak free results. It could be user error, I’ve been trying so hard to get it right, but I’ve had to reinsert 4 times in 1 hour and I’m still not getting it right I’m just honestly very frustrated. The product quality itself is great, I loved the packaging, I’m just really struggling to get positioning right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t speak for Saalt brand vs others, as this is the first and only disc I’ve tried, but I’m so glad I did. I was changing my menstrual cup many times a day (yes I’m seeing a doctor for this), and the conditions to do so at my worksite were very undesirable and unhygienic. The auto dump feature has changed everything! I understand it’s technically more bug than feature, and it may not work for everybody, but it works for me and I haven’t yet seen a down side. Comfort-wise it’s even less noticeable than the cup, but really the hands-off emptying is the game changer. The extra digging for insertion and removal feels like a small price to pay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure how to rate this item quite yet, seeing as mine was not the right fit for me, BUT I am so grateful and appreciative of the kind and speedy response time when I reached out to the ‘saalt coach’ for help determining this was a size issue for me! I’m trying out the smaller disc next period and I hope to have positive results! Really grateful to be able to keep the ongoing confidence and try again based on the opportunity that customer service allowed me to have by sending me a different disc without fuss!

After a search I found Saalt discs. After following the instructions on the site for which size to get. It arrived and I was aware of it at first, on day one I had zero leaks. So happy I found something that works!
