Disappointed in the color. It is much darker and drab compared to the light wood in the picture.

Not solid wood, but it is very heavy/sturdy. We did have a piece immediately splinter off on the front while unboxing everything, but I will wood glue the piece back on. Easy to put together as long as you pay attention to the instructions- easy to accidentally attach the wrong piece or do something backwards if you aren’t careful. I like the latch aesthetically, but it is hard to open the doors. The latch is not sturdy enough to use as a pull really, and the magnetic closure on the doors makes them fight being opened. I thought the magnet would be one of those where you push the door in and it pops out, but that is not the case. You have to really grip the base of the latch and pull the door open. We are using it as a media console for our counter mounted tv, so I had to drill a hole in the backboard for cords. Would be nice if there was already a hole, but I understand that’s not the intended use. Overall it’s sturdy and decent quality but I was disappointed it isn’t solid wood, and the lack of a door knob/pull or easier way to open/shut the doors is really frustrating. Too much of a pain to disassemble and return though.

So I have thus far, mostly, assembled one out of the two cabinets I built. It only took me two or three nights after work screwing and unscrewing things, realizing stuff was backward, or upside down to balance the doors enough to semi-satisfaction. I will say most of the hardware I was unable to get fully flush with the pre drilled holes, even with using a drill to either tighten or make deeper holes. I have also decided before putting in the shelf or magnets that I am going to get different drawer pulls as the clasping mechanism is just inconvenient and hard to open. One very good point I will say is that buying it based on the pictures I thought it may be like a honey oak from another decade which was not the classy vibe I was going for, but thankfully in person it is a beautiful wood color.

Looks nice but as someone else mentioned it is not real wood as advertised, for the original price this is not worth it. Did get it on sale for $150 off so wasn’t too bad. The color does seem to vary, would have liked it to be slightly lighter.

Awesome sturdy little cabinet for my photo books/albums. Beautiful wood color. The price was a little high end, but I waited for it to go on sale and used a birthday coupon and got it $100 off. Worth the wait!

This cabinet is not worth $350. I’m so disappointed. My husband had to drill new holes and fill in existing holes because they didn’t match up. The quality is not good at all. If I would have paid $100 maybe, but definitely not for the price. Just don’t buy it.

It was a little tricky putting it together, but at the end of it all it's exactly what I needed, great quality for the price!!!

I've been loving this cabinet addition to our house! We needed some storage underneath a kitchen half-wall/pass-through, and I'd been looking at options forever before finally finding this. It's the perfect size for the space, wasn't too difficult to put together, and looks great in our space. I love the natural wood tone, and it goes well with our other furniture from Target. The finish on the backing (beadboard?) and latch pull are nice touches, too. I've been very happy with most everything we've purchased from Hearth & Hand, and this is a very welcome addition to our home.

I’ll start with the negative, the instructions were clear but not clear enough. I had to take apart and reassemble things more than once and that was very frustrating. With that was how long it took to assemble, I felt like it was a long process for the cabinet size. Onto the good! The wood is SOLID, not some particle board it’s actual nice solid pieces that feel and look great. Everything is super sturdy, including the hinges, they have a nice hold to them once they’re fully open and close up nicely as well. The latch is unique, it takes a couple tries to get it down but then it’s easy to use. I love that the leg pieces aren’t square they’re kind of diamond shape but from a distance you’d never notice. It’s overall a very solid, stable and beautiful piece it just takes some sweat getting there.

Another beautiful cabinet from this collection! This cabinet was not that difficult to put together. I love how the corners are not sharp, so I don’t have to worry about injuring myself if I accidentally bang into the corner. I like the lock and latch system that’s in place of the door handle instead. My kids tend to open any doors, so it’s good to have a lock already in place instead of having to buy a separate lock system. The groove in the back makes it different and stands our from my other cabinets.

The Hearth and Hand storage cabinet is a useful piece of furniture that will fit in with most decor styles. It was relatively simple for me to to assemble on my own. All the pieces including hardware were marked with letters. You just need to supply a screwdriver. The light wood is warm toned and will provide a stylish place to display neutral or brightly colored knick knacks and/or collectibles. This a solid, understated storage cabinet that won’t be out of style in a few years.

There is so much to love about this glass door, wood cabinet! The natural wood color is beautiful, but is a bit darker than in the photo. This cabinet was easy to assemble as the directions were clear and simple to understand. There are so many uses for this piece, it could be used in the dining room or kitchen for extra dishes. Another use could be in an office or living room space for books or even small toys in bins. Overall this is an attractive yet very functional piece that would complement any home.

The 2-Door Grooved Wood Storage Cabinet with Glass Doors by Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia is a superb choice in cabinetry! The chic glass doors makes this furniture piece not only look high end, it also provides an ease of organization. The assembly took an hour and a half total. We did have a piece of hardware missing and the veneer had a chip in it. Those were a bit disappointing but the overall look of this cabinet made up for the small errors. There is a really neat latch system on the front that provides an industrial look to open and close the cabinet. It’s super easy to lift up and close. Of course you need to be careful when closing the doors because they’re glass. The finish is a very neutral light tan but not a blonde tan. It is really pretty! I think this cabinet is the perfect size for storage and organization. It will look great in any space of your home! I also have to mention it’s super light and can easily be moved if you change up your furniture! It has one deep shelf that can fit average size baskets or containers. The back panel is grooved and adds a bohemian look that I love!
