Looks great but the base is made out of junk wood and broke after a week of use. They really need to upgrade the base to plywood or literally anything else.

My cat loves to stand on top of this and jump up it to get toys I put on top of it.

Our cat loves this scratching post! It’s not too big, but when he stretches to scratch it it doesn’t tip at all, he would freak out if it did! When the time comes to replace it I hope this one is still available.

My young 8 month old full size kitten is hyperactive and likes scratching the furnature and getting into everything. This Pawbee Post is now her favorite place to scratch, play and hang out on, distracting her from destroying the rest of the house. She even sits on the top of it like an eagle on a tree top. After 2 months it is holding up very well, and for the price, I highly recommed it. P.S. I have also found that puting strips of clear plastic packing tape on the furnature will detur her from scrathing there.

I have a studio apartment with limited space, so i wanted something small but tall enough where my cat could stretch his arms out fully while scratching. I moved this next to my couch to prevent my cat from scratching the couch and it does the job! It tends to slide around a lot so I put it under the leg of the couch and that fixed the problem. You could also put a rug or rug pad underneath to prevent it sliding as well. This is more attractive than a lot of other scratching posts and my cat uses it every day.
