Q: Is this reversable?

A: Great question! The scratch board is 2 sided but it is glued into the tray, therefore, not reversible. Hope this helps!
submitted byMichelle - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: ****Yes! While it is glued into the tray, with just a bit of maneuvering, you can easily get it out, flip it over and get dbl the usage out of it! I have purchased over 8 of these. They are great.
submitted byDPM - 3 years agoA: NO! It's ridiculous that it is glued down. WHY would they do that? I bought two of them becuase they were an attractive color. Neither of them could be removed without destroying the tray.

My cat loves to tear this scratcher up! The bottom is slick, so it does move around on hard surfaces and carpet whenever my cat dives onto it. How long this lasts will vary depending on number of cats and activity, but mine lasts about 2-3 months (one cat with at home nail trims). Perfect diversion when placed in front of furniture you don't want scratched!

My mistake for not reading the reviews. This cat scratcher isn’t reversible, when most are because that gives double the scratching surface. Even worse, it smells like chemicals, likely from the glue used to make it single sided. My cat wouldn’t use it until I put some cat nip on it, and he usually is all over a new scratcher. Even with nip, he only lightly scratched it. I bought two and only opened one. What a waste. I won’t be buying this again.

I gave two stars because it is an attractive and subtle color in my living room. Other than that i would have given ZERO stars because the pad is not reversible.--it's glued down! WHY??? I've never heard of that before. I bought two of them, and I tried prying the pad out of both, but it was impossible to do without destroying the cardboard tray. I wish they would fix this.

Doesn't last forever, as my cat uses it frequently. I'd say we got about 3 months daily use out of it, might have gone longer but I tossed it when someone threw up on it. Will be replacing with a more permanent type, as I don't like continually replacing items, but this is okay in my book as it's fully recyclable (minus the vomited section!). Greater depth than most other versions.

It works from the getgo, cats get curious and then immediately start using it. Also came w/ a little bag of catnip, but I didn't need that to start off. But nice add-on, in case u need to get ur cat to know what it's for.

I bought it because it was wider than the one we already had at home. Cat likes it, but the major flaw is that you cannot flip it over...which just creates more waste when you have to buy another one sooner. If you could flip it, I would purchase it again, but due to that flaw I will be buying something else next time.

This scratcher, unlike most of its competitors, does not allow you to flip over the scratching surface to extend its useful life. If I had known this, I would not have purchased it. There's no reason to do this except to make people buy these twice as fast. I am disappointed.

my cat loves these!!! my little trick is that after she shreds it, I remove the thin cardboard piece that is around the base and flip it over and then you get double the use out of it
