The stand is nice and heavy, but apparently there's no quality control measures in place. All four drawer panels have scratches all the way around the edge. One drawer panel has a deep gouge in the middle. One door panel is crooked even though it was installed according to the instructions. And two out of the four door hinges are misaligned. This product is definitely not worth over $500!!

We are very happy with this TVstand because it has a great design and made of wood. There is a lot of room to put DVDs and CDs and the drawers have the exact dimensions of CD and DVD cases. The shelves are wide and high enough for any DVD player or amplification system. All parts fit perfectly and it is not difficult to assemble to follow the instructions. The delivery was OK, only one front panel of one drawer was scratched, which was immediately replaced by Simplihome. We highly recommend this TV stand and Simplihome and will buy more their products in the future.

Shiped well, although it had one side piece with a large scratch that would be visible after assembly. Manufacturer quickly sent a replacement piece. Took a while to assemble by myself. Looks beautiful in the living room...hung tv on the wall above it. Drawers and doors open gently. Very nice piece...would recommend.
