Basketball Teen Motion Lamp - West & Arrow

This is a very neat lamp that can be used as a night light for any sports fan, especially a basketball fan. I liked the button function that gave the option to change light colors to either flash or stay in a single color through the night. Our favorite part was the mini basketballs inside the lamp that flow up and through the hoop with the water movement. However, this lamp is very sensitive. The first night we set it up it leaked through the night, my son woke up to a pretty large leak on his dresser and after placing a small towel under it and emptying out a little bit of water from the top, there was no leak the following night. If you have trouble with leaking, I suggest pouring out some water in case that filling it to the top causes some sort of pressure that allows for a leak. The lamp lasted my son about two months until he accidentally knocked it over just recently and the water somehow got into the bottom electrical part and it was not able to be repaired. The clear plastic cracked on the bottom and all of the water was overflowing that I had to unfortunately throw it out. I got it for regular price at $20 and even with a 30% off unfortunately I don’t think it’s worth replacing if it’s going to crack or break with a simple tipping over. It’s not worth the mess nor dealing with a sad child because their favorite lamp is too sensitive to even move around and break easily. That’s Just my opinion.

This was disappointing for 20 dollars. My son’s special interest is basketball and he was so excited when we got this lamp. We purchased this on August 11th and now the light doesn’t work in it. The beads inside still function but the light makes the lamp worth while. I wasn’t crazy about this as you have to fill it with water and some soap to make the “ball” float. We never had any issues with it leaking. I wouldn’t spend 20 on this.

I got this for all my boys room, after we had 1 because they all loved it! From 6 yrs old to 15 yrs old! They all told me it was relaxing to look at when they were in their rooms! They enjoyed the light it gave off, and they all love and play basketball ! And they all have basketball decor in their rooms! So it goes !

This product simulates the action of a lava lamp by using plastic balls and dish wash detergent to make the balls float in the water. The plus is you don’t have a heated lamp to worry about, but it is definitely not the lava lamps you remember as a kid.

This is listed as a lava lamp, so I was expecting just that. Instead it has little basketballs that stay down towards the bottom and then all of a sudden shoot up towards the basket. It has a cute concept to.it, but not sure if it should be listed as a lava lamp.

Teen’s Basketball Style Lava Lamp was great for my teenager’s room. The lamp displayed nicely on a small table and conveniently plugged in with the included power cord. The lamp changed colors at the press of a button.

This lamp is really an experience. It's fun to watch the beads float around . I love how it changes colors to suit what mood you want that day . Doesn't take up too much counter space . Easy to setup .
