The Baffling Bowl Card Game

I loved how this game made you actually think on how to describe words you usually don't use. We loved it and could not stop playing. I highly recommend getting this game. This was gifted to me for my honest opinion

I recently hosted a party courtesy of Tryazon & Gouda Games called Baffling Bowl. This game is played in 3 rounds where you work in teams to get them to try and guess the word on the card. Round one is speaking & having them guess it without saying the danger words, round two is acting out the same words from round one but with motions & only using your non-dominant hand, and round three is saying it backwards once. Laughter and fun were had by all in attendance! #thebafflingbowl

My children loved it, this game is super entertaining, it keeps the whole family engaged. I love hoy my 8 year old can play this game with his 15 year old brother and have fun together.

The Baffling Bowl is basically a game of charades and gibberish. Round 1 has teams racing against each other to describe as many words as they can without using the “forbidden” terms before time runs out. Round 2 gets a lot funnier when teams act out the words using their non-dominant hand and rely on earlier guesses to crack the words through all of the awkward acting. Round 3 is a test of reverse thinking as you read the words backward, only once. Then the teams have to decipher the backwards riddles for the final points. You will need 4 or more players and it’s for ages 10+. You get 8 booklets (600 words), score book, 1 bowl, and the instruction manual. Overall it is a lot of fun and pretty fast paced. Definitely a great party game.

This game was like a silly game of charades. So fun and perfect for families.

We loved playing this game with family & friends! We laughed as we tried to fulfill the silly requests. We adapted the game for our younger kids who can’t read, but generally this is a fun game for all ages!

Second, act out the word without speaking or using your dominant hand. Third is when you have to say words backwards and your team has to guess. I loved this game and would highly recommend it.

Omg how fun was this game! Our favorite portion was saying the keyword backwards and trying to figure it out!

This is a fun game to play with a group. It's easy enough to get all the rules from the beginning. With the few rounds it's a good amount of time. And it comes with lots and lots of cards for future game playing

This game was a lot of fun! It was great for the group of teenagers we had over for a birthday. They laughed and were completely engaged. Favorite round was the reading of the word backwards!

This is a game that is similiar to one we have made up and played with friends through the years -but with two different, hilarous rounds! Great with people of all ages and family friendly!

The baffling bowl game is lots of laughs! We had so much fun playing this game. I'm not sure which round was more fun describing, acting or saying the word backwards. Great game for all your gathering.

I loved this game and would highly recommend it.

The gameplay itself was terrific! Round 1 was guessing a word without using obvious clue words. Round 2 was similar to charades but with a fun added twist. Round 3 was saying a word backwards which isn't for the feint of heart - it's harder than you'd think! Overall, everyone had a great time with this game, and we were easily able to adjust the game so that younger kids could play too, simply by playing in groups or only doing certain types of rounds. The gameplay was well thought out and very fun! The only reason we took a star away was because we felt it cut some cost corners that could have made it top notch. The game cards were not completely opaque, so we had to be careful when unfolding them so sneaky players didn't read through the paper. Also, it states in the directions to use a 45 second timer on your own device such as a cell phone, which I don't see as practical since people are constantly getting notifications and/or using their phones for photos/calls/anything. The inclusion of a simple sand timer and thicker paper would have given this game 5 stars.

This game is a lot of fun! It can be played with a group and with multiple ages. The game is played in rounds and each round is a bit more challenging. We all loved it!

This game was a fun twist on a classic game! While I don't love the paper cards; it provides lots of variability in the game! Acting with a hand behind your back, who knew this would be such a challenge! Understanding a word someone has just said backward, an even bigger challenge! So MANY laughs!

The Baffling Bowl Game which was a multi round word guessing game including a taboo type round, charades with one hand and then saying the words backwards. It was quite tricky to get through the bowl of words! But lots of laughs and they had a great time playing. It’s good for kids age 8+ because they do need to read and think quickly!

I like that The Baffling Bowl has 3 different rounds making the game more challenging and hilarious as the game goes on. It's simple enough: you take turns giving clues to team members and they have to guess them. There are word clues, charades and reading the words backwards which is the funniest. I also like that you can lose points. It's easy enough for everyone to play. My only complain was that the paper used for the words is see through and a bit flimsy.

This game is so fun for the whole family. It makes you think outside the box as you try to describe the words and then use your non dominant hand, but the hardest round for me was trying to think of the words backwards and figure them out. We all loved this!
