Halloween Sushi Cat Costume - Hyde and EEK! Boutique™ One Size Fits Most

This would not fit on my average size cat.

Very cute costume but I tried it on four different cats and it didn’t fit on any of them.

The costume didn’t fasten around my kitty’s middle. She’s not a fat cat and the costume said “one size fits all”. Very strange.

Love the concept but the belly strap is not long enough for an adult cat. My cat isn’t even fat but this costume had me questioning my cat’s diet.

This is too big for a kitten and too small for an adult cat. If you have some sewing skills, you can add some fabric into the stomach straps and it’ll work just fine, but unless you’re me, you probably won’t waste your time on a $4 cat costume. Hopefully it wins me the cutest pet Halloween costume contest at work, then it’ll all be worth it.

So super cute! But absolutely did not fit any of my cats which was a huge bummer. This would probably fit a chihuahua or a kitten, not a full grown cat.

I think the idea of this costume is adorable. The fabric for the ‘rice’ is soft and fluffy, just like sushi rice. The ‘salmon’ part looks realistic enough without being too realistic and not matching the rest of the costume. The seaweed band is just perfection. I agree with another poster that the seaweed band material should have been continued as the band around the costume (the part that connects around the cat’s belly). However, the bands that go around the body and neck are way too small. Despite all that, I did purchase it due to the price and easily being able to alter it at minimal cost. The cost to make the costume from scratch would not be less than $5.00 as I did get it on sale.

Second cat outfit I have purchased for my cat from Target that is WAY TOO SMALL. They clearly are not doing any product-testing. This is far too long for a kitten, but the straps can't fit my small adult cat. So who is this product for? Nobody. You're meant to buy it for cheap, hopefully forget about it, and not return it within the return window. Target please make products with the intent that people will actually use them please. One more thing: why would the belly straps not be black (seaweed color)? Why is it white like the rice? That makes no sense. The "seaweed" strip should go all the way around, not just suddenly cut off. Poor design. Cute idea, but put more time into it.

wish i looked up reviews before buying this in-store. just like all the others say, this will not fit any cat (not even a chihuahua). don't waste your money, and target - get better at one size animal clothing.
