    They are tart for about 2 seconds and then it's quite sweet. The red and orange ones are the best. The green caramel apple ones just taste like caramel and don't hit right. If you like sweet Apple and caramel flavors this will be a good pick for you. If you want sour go a different route or go with the standard sour patch kids.

    Good but not sour

    I was so excited to try these bc I love anything apple flavor. These are WAY TOO SWEET (I’m a grown up in my 30s) so to me it’s tooooo sweet lol. If you’re younger or have kids then maybe it’s fine but that mixed with the fact that the coating is more sugar than sour mix I couldn’t finish the whole bag. Wouldn’t get again unless they change the recipe. Also just being picky but they didn’t taste strongly of tart apple enough to me.

    Tastes Like Candles

    I was surprised to see so many people loving these flavors in their review’s. As others stated, the “sour” is really mild. My problem was in the flavor of the candy itself though. They taste like the candles suburban moms put out this time of year, overwhelming in an attempt to make the experience cozy. As a big fan of sour patch kids, these were overall very disappointing and I wont be finishing the bag.
