Q: I love this lantern, however what does the green light mean ...that it is on the solar mode or auto. I can't find any directions for how to understand the 3 modes

Touching the on/off button once will illuminate the lantern. Touching the on button again will turn on the light sensor and illuminate a green status LED. The green light indicates that the light sensor is on and the lantern will illuminate when the light sensor sensing it is dark. Touching the button again will turn the lantern and sensor off. Q: My recently purchased solar lantern goes on at dusk but it only stays on for 2-3 hours. I've charged it using the USB cord and the lantern is placed to get natural sun during the day. What is wrong?

Purchased four of these (white and yellow). They are very pretty and give off a nice ambient light that is actually quite bright. The yellow lantern gives the light more amber color than the white lantern, which gives off more of a cool white. The only downfall is the charging does not last very long. I have only gotten two, maybe three, nights max after full charge with the port. This is pretty disappointing to have to charge every few days. It does not seem the solar charging does very well. Maybe it’s been too cloudy, but we have had sunny days as well. May reassess once it is full Texas summer sun.

This lantern is incredible. I put it outside to soak up the sun and forgot about it. Despite moisture and cold temperatures, it is still working well. You can also charge it via a wall charger. It is powerful enough to use for soft light night reading, but is more like a stronger night light. It emits a beautiful glow. If it does not turn on after solar charging, just plug it into the wall, and it will “wake up”. It does have a standby mode as well, which is triggered by movement. After charging, you get tons of power for seemingly forever. All that at a great price.

I kinda bought this on impulse, not because I needed it but because I just LOVED the way it looked. It has a charger you can use by plugging into the wall, as well as a solar panel on top. There are two settings—on/off, and on-when-dark-detected/off. The button is a touch button, nothing actually presses down. While it’s very lightweight and probably all plastic inside, the outer layer is metal. It gives off an impressive amount of light for something so small and battery-powered! It comes in so many great colors, but I decided on the green. It’s really beautiful!
