I can't wait to use this steamer! It is so sturdy and well-made, with great design and high quality bamboo. It feels really special but also very functional, like a combination show pony and work horse.

This is our first bamboo steamer so we're learning as we go. The fact that we can't wash it with soap was a surprise, I hope that this doesn't lead to it breeding bacteria! I noticed a lot of splinters coming off the sides and in the baskets, be careful! I haven't seen a lot of other baskets so I don't know if that's a quality control issue or not. The size is really nice, we're able to steam more of a meal of dim sum than we were able to in our tiny steamer. Still left to see: how well this holds up over time with repeated steaming and washing and drying cycles. We hope it'll last a long time.

Joyce Chen bamboo steamer is just perfect for my momos and rice cakes. It is so easy to use and after using it’s easy to clean. I use a large pot and fill it with water. Then I place this steamer with the food in the pot. The boiling water and the steam cooks my food so well. This steamer keeps my food moist. This steamer has two tiers and I can use both the tiers at once and keep a lot of momos for steaming. I am so happy that this steamer works well for me. The bamboo quality is great and it’s made so well. Great for authentic Asian dishes. I am overall so thrilled.
