Description
Nothing is worse than prepping everything for a perfect night around a fire but you can't get the wood lit. Easily light your night with Betterwood Products Fatwood Firestarter.
Unlike most other fire starters, Fatwood is ideal for any indoor or outdoor situation. There’s no spilling, no odors, no chance of flare-up, and no dangerous toxins to breathe. It’s safe, clean, and has an indefinite shelf-life. You can use it to start your backyard grill or your indoor fireplace safely and easily, even when wet! Leave the kerosene-soaked products, the smelly fluids, and the sawdust composites to the other guys. When you’re ready to put your fireplace, chiminea, grill pellet, or wood stove into action, grab two sticks of all-natural Fatwood. That’s all you’ll need.
Born from the wood of old pine stumps left for waste after logging, it is made from splitting the stumps of pine trees that contain a high concentration of natural sap. As the stump wood hardens over time, the sap concentrates to create an all-natural fire starter.
The stumps are split into sticks approximately 8 inches in length and 0.75 inches in diameter. We’ve found this size to be a convenient and ideal size for practically all applications. Whether using it in the fireplace, the backyard BBQ, a pellet stove, or even in the woods while camping, Fatwood Firestarter is the ideal choice. Yes, all Fatwood is kindling, but not all kindling will ever be Fatwood.

This will for sure last my family for all of our fires this summer. The kindling is the perfect size, I won’t need to split off little pieces from logs like I normally have to. It also smells amazing, you know that fresh wood smell, no fake chemical smells or anything like that🙏🏽 It works great and as an added bonus, the company plants 3 seedlings for every tree that is used. How great is that?! I 1000% recommend this product.

The box was right. My husband put about a dozen in our fire pit. WOW. What a blaze. He likes this wood so much he’s been talking about gifting a box to each of his buddies for Christmas! We’ll def be buying more when this box runs out. Highly recommend!

We use a wood burning stove and a fireplace to help cut the price of high electric bills. The price for this is very reasonable and especially when you factor in how much you’re saving on electric. It starts super easy and always reliable. No fidgeting with starter gels necessary. We take this with us when we go camping as well. No muss. No fuss. Highly recommend.

This is an awesome, convenient and clean way to start a fire, whether in your wood burning fireplace or your Solo Stove. Made from pine tree stumps (where resin naturally resides in a hardened, non sticky state), with the sweet aroma of pine, these starters light easily with a match, even when wet, and are completely natural and chemical free. I have a woodstove that I use for heating the house during the colder months and all I need to do is pack in logs, newspaper, and the Fatwood sticks. Strike a match, and in short order I have a fabulous fire that will burn for hours. These make my life much easier. As an added bonus they make my living room smell fantastic like I am in a fragrant pine forest. One of my best buys ever for convenience and ease of use! I highly recommend them. We live in a mountain community and Autumn is the time of year we get our cords of winter wood delivered and stock up on firestarters.

These light up easily every time. It's nice to use a natural wood product instead of a toxic lighter fluid. Overall, they are more economical to use as you only need a couple of sticks per fire. It's that time of year so I recommend that you buy these!

The directions state that you will only need a couple of sticks to start a fire and at first I was skeptical, but I followed the directions and was pleasantly surprised. These firestarter sticks catch fire fast and they burn clean. They burn hot and seem to last long enough to catch the rest of my logs really well. I love having this box of firestarter nearby because I don't have to search for leaves and other types of kindling that smoke heavily.

It’s awesome and works really well. It comes neatly packaged and does what it says, enables me to easily start a fire in my fire pit without having to use any other chemicals.
