CeraVe Anti-Dandruff Scalp Care Shampoo - 12 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo was nothing exceptional, but it did clean my hair okay. It has a neutral scent but the consistency was too thin for my liking. I didn’t notice much of a difference with my dandruff even after using it consistently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having sebderm on my scalp, this Pyrithione zinc shampoo really makes a difference. With curly hair, I typically try to avoid sulfates, but usually have trouble with lather. I was pleasantly surprised how well this shampoo lathers! It is great for people who are sensitive to fragrance as well because there is no scent. Probably also would work well for people with fungal facial acne and seems a lot more gentle than head and shoulders.

Dry scalp and dandruff are my winter struggles and so far I haven’t had much of either after using this shampoo and conditioner a few times. It leaves my hair soft. It’s easy to use packaging is nice. Good value for the money. Would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The result was such an itchy, flaky scalp that some nights I couldn’t sleep. I also saw flakes on my hands when I scratched and it even fell onto my clothes, I knew I had to do something and CeraVe saved me when I was at my worst. I tried this shampoo and conditioner out of desperation. The first thing I noticed was that my hair was soft and silky, like I had just changed my hairstyle. I first used this product last week and I was skeptical at the time, and today I can't believe how effective it is after just over a week of use. Since it is sulfate, dye, paraben, fragrance, and MIT free, this shampoo is soft, low foam, no strong smell, and especially after drying my hair felt softer. This is a real positive for someone with an itchy scalp like me, the itch has reduced and only appears when my hair is greasy, dirty, and I have to wash it. My hair looks shinier, smoother, and feels like my scalp has been strengthened by Cerave's protective barrier. I am extremely grateful every time I use CeraVe Anti-Dandruff Moisturizing Shampoo.

Cerave is an always a go to because their products end up being consistently reliable and a good price point.

Most dandruff shampoos are drying and ruin hair color and, in my experience, this one didn’t overly dry out or ruin my color. The scent is light but yummy. Overall an incredible product for the price.

There’s no real scent to it, which is nice. There’s packaging keeps everything where it should be. I will say it is a little runnier than other shampoos, more like a lotion.

I sometimes notice buildup on my scalp and I found this to be similar to a clarifying shampoo. I do not use it daily, as I feel it may be a little drying. I have incorporated it once a week in my hair washing, and I love it so much! The smell is very subtle, but fresh.
