There are a few things you can try to get it back on: Make sure that your environment isn't too hot or too cold (tablets are sensitive to extreme temperatures), next disconnect your device from charging equipment, such as the power adapter and cable. If you're using a wireless charging dock or mat, remove the tablet. Then, Press and hold the power button for 40 seconds or until your device restarts, reconnect your device to charge; plug in the cable to the power adapter and your device then plug the adapter into an outlet. The LED on most wireless chargers is solid white when charging. If your tablet still isn't charging, you may be eligible for a warranty replacement. You can reach Amazon at 1-888-280-4331. So many issues. Tedious set up. Download a few apps and the storage is full. Allows you to uninstall apps but you can't delete them. Despite it having a kid proof case the screen still broke. And DO NOT purchase the protection plan. When I filed a claim they offered to replace the tablet but gave me 3 options to choose from none of which are Amazon Fire tablets. The 3 options I got are off brand tablets with bad reviews.

Stopped working

My 4 year old loved this tablet! It was easy to use and held just enough games for her. However, after having it for less than 2 months it just stopped working. The battery died and then it would never charge and power back up again. We tried everything. Wanted to exchange it, but Target says the return window has closed. Frustrating for it to stop working so quickly.

If you have an app installed for any external source there’s a chance that one of the apps you’ve installed is causing the issue. You could go to Settings > Apps & Games > Manage All Applications and uninstall any such app. 3. Check and install if there is any pending device software update. 4. Clear cache for the apps used frequently, especially the browser. 5. Please see that you have no apps running in the background by tapping the square symbol at the bottom of your tablet, next to your Home button. Dismiss any apps you are not currently using. 6. Next, go to Settings > Apps and Notifications and see that you have no background processes such as Kindle running, you can select the Force Stop option. Great tablet for long trips! Love the protective case and its low screen brightness. The games it offers are fun for my and keep him occupied. The only downsides are the long term subscription payments after the trail ends and I haven’t found how he can watch a few videos when offline. Would 100% recommend

Just received in the mail today and first they sent the wrong color and even though it's connected to internet, nothing will load.
