A: Hello Alex, once a movie is downloaded to the tablet you can watch it without an internet connection. I do this all the time for long flights. There are several streaming apps that allow for downloading movies such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. All of these will allow for you to download movies.

The Fire HD 10 Kids does allow you to access YouTube, as well as YouTube Kids, but there is unfortunately not a native YouTube Kids app available as it is only available from the Google Play Store. The good news though, is that the Fire HD 10 Kids comes with a free trial of Amazon Kids+ which features a huge variety of curated kids content including TV shows, movies, books and even games. You can use the Parent Dashboard to filter content for appropriate age ranges, and even add additional content you purchase from Amazon or the App Store. Absolutely terrible quality. There’s 0 control of what your kids can and cannot do, unless you put it in airplane mode which allows a handful of apps to work, and on partially. The tablet freezes often. I reached out to Amazon for support and received none. I’m out $100. Fo yourself the favor and skip it.

Reviews are manipulated. My kids have these tablets and both are just annoying. Slow and poor quality. Definitely not recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is mainly a kids tablet but you can have different profiles and make adult ones so it's just like a regular tablet. It has TONS of content for kids. Games, videos, books, music, etc. The only thing I don't like is that the kids profile page shows everything like apps already downloaded and apps that aren't downloaded. In my pic you can see this. Everything with a check is downloaded to the tablet and everything else is stuff you can download. For a younger kid they don't really understand this and think it automatically has all this stuff but they actually have to click on each one and wait for it to download. There's not really a place to see everything your kid has downloaded either. I trust all the content but it would still be nice to manage. Surprisingly, we haven't run into anything that needed to be paid for and I assume that's because of the subscription which I think is great. Its so convenient to have so many different options that you don't have to worry about whether you have to pay for it or not. It also comes with a super cute and sturdy case that has a handle and stand.

This one is perfect. The camera quality is 10x better! I love the new parental website to monitor the device from my phone. I highly recommend this device for kids ages 3-9. The set up was easy only took a few minutes. There are so many apps for the kids to play on right away. I’m not spending time trying to find good apps. It has the better charger that charges faster. My daughter has been playing on it since I set it up. I like that I can block the fun apps until she reads for a little bit.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 kids tablet walks you right through setup do getting started was super easy. The tablet comes in a cute removable blue case that will definitely help protect it in the case of dropping or kid roughness. Quick startup and app loading is a definite plus. I was thrilled that a year of an Amazon Kids subscription was included free. I have a subscription to Noggin already and was able to easily log into that app on this tablet. I also noticed a PBS kids app on the tablet too. There are a multitude of other apps, movies, games , music, and other stuff on here too. We have found some great games on here and there are still tons of things to explore. This tablet is perfect for my 3 year old grandson. He loves it so much ! Of course we limit his time on it. I love that this tablet gives me access to a ton of educational content. You can create profiles for children of different ages so that younger kids don’t access inappropriate content. Definitely recommend it if you are in the market for a kids tablet. All the younger kids in my family love it.

We use it mostly for movies and TV shows... and honestly I've taken it to the gym to use for the same thing! It's great that you can hook up Bluetooth headphones and prop it out by the stand on the case. I also really like how protective the case is because there's no worry that it will be dropped and broken! We would have definitely purchased this as a Christmas gift had we not received it to test! I'm certain we will continue to get a lot of use out of it!

I love that this tablet comes in a kid friendly case and the 2-year worry-free guarantee is amazing! The included free year subscription of kids+ is nice and has access to tons of games and movies and books and more. I love that I can add a storage card for more storage space as needed. I was so impressed, I've purchased a second one so each of my youngest children have their own!
