We purchased the white which is off white or more like an antique white. It took about 5 hours to assemble. You only need to supply a good phillips head screwdriver. The item was not damaged in shipping and all the parts were included. Two people can fairly easily move the unit when assembled. Most of it was clear to assemble but some of the instructions were a little confusing on a few pages. Not all holes for screws are predrilled so they had to be forced in. The drawers don't fit perfectly square, you can see that the edges on either side of the individual drawals are not the same distance from the edge. The drawars work but are much more shallow than you would think based on the picture. Be prepared to work with a lot of screws. There is no phone number to call if you have issues. They supply an email which we didn's use. Overall it seems sturdy and fairly well built for the price.
