No way the shelves hold 400 lbs! An album weighs approximately 1/2 lb. Laying a straight edge on it, you can see how much it says, with WAY under 150 lbs. on any of the shelves. Yes, it went together easily, but, looks horrible. Of course, I pitched all the packing material when I assembled it. Albums just being put on now, a few days later. So much for reading prior reviews. Doubtful I'd get anything back on it.

I liked this because this is all metal shelf. The time it took to assemble this is very less and it is not even that complicated. The metal shelf is strong and what I liked so much is that there is very less chance of it bukling when heavy items are kept.

It is a sturdy rack. perfect for garages. the adjustable shelves adapt to the space and assembly is breeze, no tools needed.

The appearance of the shelf is generous and practical, the distribution speed is fast, adn the installation and debugging are convenient and quick.

I purchased this shelving unit so I couldb store my dry goods, cooking spices in a closet I have converted. The size fit perfectly in the closet. The shelving unit is sturdy. The material are good and the construction shows it is heavy duty.

The goods have been received, the assembly as directed was done quickly, and sorting was much easier. I fixed up the kitchen. It's stable. It won't cave in.

I was expecting a far more stout shelving unit. But it's actually quite flimsy. (see photo) I placed a 10lb weight in the center of a shelf. It sagged 1/4". I also wanted to extend it's height by a few feet by adding additional tubes as is generally possible with these type of shelves. But they saved a few cents by not threading the top of the upper post. Finally, I ordered chrome. I recieved a painted silver unit.

Half a day to install and clean back in place, can be adjusted between the height of each layer, each layer can with stand 400pounds.
