I washed my daughter’s hair with this because we ran out of her shampoo and she looked at me and said mom I smell like a grandma. It made my hair feel rough too and I think it faded my color faster.

I have fine straight hair and personally this shampoo has been one of the best I’ve tried! It actually does give my hair volume at the root while my hair is still hydrated and silky. My hair can get really tangly with a lot of shampoos but this doesn’t do that. It also has a really nice natural fresh scent. I hope they don’t discontinue it with all the negative reviews :(

I have been a faithful L’Oréal customer for nearly a decade. The previous formula of this shampoo was perfect, loved by so many. I’d often buy bottles in bulk and recommended it to so many friends. The new formula is absolutely horrible, doesn’t lather, and made my fine hair feel like straw - all thanks to the cheaper ingredients used. I returned it immediately when I realized what had happened. L’Oréal cares more about profits than maintaining its customers. Taking my business elsewhere - hope we all find a decent replacement for what used to be the best shampoo!

I've stuck by the product even as the price haa gone up and up. But the most recent change feels drastic... no longer is the shampoo a milky white, but clear. No longer does it help smooth and detangle your hair. After washing and conditioning, my hair is more tangled and left feeling sticky and unclean AND it's been actively falling out! Horrific. I am upset and done with L'Oreal.

I have exclusively used and loved this shampoo for over 12 years, giving it 5 STARS and recommending it to everyone I know who dyes their hair. I have always bought three or four tubes at a time to make sure I don't run out. I was very confused in October 2024 when my new tube had a completely different product in it. For some reason, and without warning, you have changed the formula and the shampoo is now completely different. I have now used the new formula three times, and my scalp is now dry and itchy, my hair is dry and full of static, and my color has faded. PLEASE bring back the original formula ASAP! I believe the original formula is the [LOTUS] formula. In the meantime, I am forced to search for a better shampoo.

I wish they hadn't changed the formula. I've been using this shampoo for years. Loved the old formula and how it worked with my colored hair. Lots of shiny volume. Not anymore. Heavy and leaves a film that makes my hair feel like it's not clean. Also just had my hair colored two weeks ago and noticed it's stripping the color out. Same color, same stylist. So it's not a different product or person doing my hair. I wont be purchasing this again.
