Amy's Gluten Free and Vegan Frozen Black Bean & Vegetable Enchilada - 9.5oz

His words, " I wouldn't go out of my way to buy them but I would eat them if they were in front of me." My brother in law on the other hand is vegan and he really liked them. He said there was a lot of flavor and filling. He will defiantly be getting more. This is also great for a snack and/or meal.

This is the first product I have tried from this brand, so I was not entirely sure what to expect. I was amazed at the taste and quality considering it was microwaved and only took a few minutes! An easy go to meal, and am excited to try others from this brand!

So easy to prepare that even our kids can make them. I love keeping these on hand for a quick lunch or supper when I don't have time to cook! I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The portion seems small at first glance but fine and once heated the enchiladas looked too oily in my opinion but it was tasty and come be pared up with some rice and beans or another side for a quick dinner or lunch.

Had it for lunch and promptly went and got one for dinner. I could eat this for every meal easily. Soooo good and healthy without sacrificing taste.

They're a very tasty blend of black beans, diced veggies, tofu I think, and cheese. Followed the cooking directions in my 1200 watt microwave and they cooked perfectly. They actually even resemble the picture on the front of the box. Not too many frozen meals that do that. I haven't tried a lot of Amy's frozen meals, but this is my favorite of the ones I've had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not usually a fan of of heat-and-eat frozen meals, but Amy’s Black Bean Vegetable Enchilada is a new favorite! It was not too difficult to find locally, and now I can enjoy a healthy and deliciously satisfying Mexican dish in just a few minutes. This plant based vegan meal contains no gluten, dairy, lactose, or nuts. The tortilla is made with ground organic corn, and it is not at all mushy or rubbery as I would have expected. I especially love the traditional restaurant quality sauce that is rich and flavorful without being too overwhelming. There is a generous portion for one person, and it is filled with a blend of organic black beans, tofu, and vegetables for the perfect balance of taste and texture. This meal is incredibly quick and easy to make using a microwave, plus the tray is sturdy enough to eat from directly. I thoroughly enjoyed it so much, that I’ve already bought another variety to try, Amy’s Cheese Enchilada (contains milk). I look forward to eating these handy indulgent meals regularly without feeling guilty, especially since they’re a good source of protein, under 500 calories, and made with simple wholesome ingredients!

Thry cook from frozen in the oven in about 40 minutes. The sauce is zesty and the flavor is good. I added more spice and avocado to my meal. I felt good confident that I was eating a healthy meal free and I would recommend this to my friends and family.

This time I tried the black bean veggie enchiladas. Yum. I am a strict label reader and I look for organic and non gmo products whenever possible. I will continue to enjoy Amy’s products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE these enchiladas, they're delicious! I think they're much better than the kind of enchiladas you get in a restaurant. Everyone in the family loves them so much that they're now part of our plant-based Mexican food night. The enchiladas are two corn tortillas and the filling is black beans, tiny squares of tofu, zucchini, onion, corn, peppers and veggies. (Even though there is tofu in these, it definitely doesn't taste that way. So if you don't like tofu like me, then you will still enjoy these!) - the sauce is a traditional red-chili based sauce and it's really great. Almost as good as the kind I make myself. They're also gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, tree nut free/vegan so that's a win too if you have family members with food sensitivities or who are vegan or vegetarian.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always walked by Amy's stuff in the freezer section and honestly have thought they looked good, but have never ventured out to try them. Until now. I grabbed the Black Bean enchiladas because bean &/or cheese enchiladas are my jam. These had a good amount of filling including black beans and corn. The corn tortillas stayed firm but were soft enough to eat even after heating in the microwave. The sauce was delicious and not too spicy. I really enjoyed them and plan on getting more to put in the freezer. Glad I gave them a try!

They taste very good and have that authentic flavor. I appreciate the portion size and not a lot of added things that most entrees have in them that contribute to dietary issues. Totally recommend.
