Why have you changed the formula for the jambalaya boxed. It now has no flavoring. I have been using your mix for years, but recently the flavor has changed. If you reduced the flavoring because of complaints of it being too spicy, I suggest you put out another recipe, box it as true Cajun, or spicy, or something. Having to add the spices and more to the current package, means I might just as well make my own recipe and add rice. Thank you if someone bothers to read my comment

I added some (cooked) kielbasa and some sautéed onions to the Jambalaya rice mix. It is the most delicious dinner I make! And so easy, too. I will certainly be buying again!!

does not taste like jambalaya. Barely had any peppers or anything in it. It is super spicy. My partner and I both really like spicy food, but this was a lot. Seriously lacking flavor. Does not taste bad, just does not taste good. jambalaya was not in the room with us, but the spice was.

We purchased this product for many years and it was always flavorful but the boxes we got today were just so bland and tatesless. I at first thought my wife got the lower sodium version by mistake. She hadn't, but oddly the box labeling had "mild" on the front which seems odd as the jambalaya mix was never hot nor very spicy before. Then I thought she didn't put all the seasoning mix in it, she said she did. I finally ended up adding some taco seasoning to give it some flavor to make it worth eating. I will give your Jambalya mix another go, ans will make sure the boxes don't say "mild" on them again. And hope for the best.

I added a quarter piece of ham steak chopped, a half of a polish sausage cut into pieces, and a half cup of cooked ground beef, and it was delicious! When you add in the meat it is most important to add it in at the right time so the meat is not over cooked. I waited until the rice only had five minutes left of cooking to add in the meat. Also I added a little extra water and vegetable oil than what the recipes calls for to make the rice more tasty! I will make this again, as it's a unique dish!

I used to buy this mix a lot, but stopped for no reason in particular, I loved it. I saw it in the grocery the other day so thought I would try it again. It was very bland and basically had no flavor. I doubt I'll buy it again.

I love Jambalaya and have been eating Zatarain's all my life. However, in the past few months, they changed from brown to long grain white rice. It's not the same, and it tastes like cardboard.

We're sorry our Zatarain's® Jambalaya Rice Mix didn't meet your expectations. Our Jambalaya Rice Mix has always used long-grain white rice. We used to manufacture Zatarain's® Brown Rice Jambalaya Mix – Rice Dinner Mix, but that was discontinued in 2019 because of sales. Would it be possible for you to go to www.mccormick.com/zatarains/contact and provide some additional product-related information? I rarely write reviews online, but I was so disappointed, I had no choice. First, I hate that there is no longer the pasta version of the jambalaya, because it was DELICIOUS! . I recently (2 days ago) bought a box of jambalaya, after not having any in years and was confused by the flavor. It tastes like anise has been added and its AWFUL! I don't know whose idea it was to change it, but they need to be demoted. I bought 2 boxes before I tasted it, and now I have to throw the second box away! The ONLY reason I didn't throw away the box I cooked is because I didn't want to waste the meat I added. Please change it back!!

I have used this many times with cunecuh sausage and it turns out great. Recently tried Hilshire Farms and it was not worth eating. Only use a high quality sausage. The meat makes this great. Well worth the price for convenience. Highly recommend, but only if you use quality sausage.

I love hot, spicy food but this jambalaya was extremely hot. It was so hot that I threw it out and made an alternate dinner. I grew up in Louisiana and never, never had something like this. It was extremely disappointing.
