Straight out the package there was a slight unpleasant smell. But that went away after washing the set. It was able to be washed without any issues. I cannot comment on the durability since it has only been month. I probably wouldn’t buy a set again myself, but will definitely rotate this set now that I have it

I hope my photos provide a better sense of the stitched design. I always enjoy quilts like this because they are not too bulky. This is thick enough to be high quality but light enough to be able to use in the warmer months. The quilt came with two matching pillow cases. It is a true creamy white. Size wise, it fit my queen mattress nicely with generous overhang off the sides.

The weight is medium and perfect for summer or fall. You might want to add a layer for winter if it gets really cold. I prefer this weight so I don’t feel smothered or uncomfortably hot when I sleep. It covers almost the entire length of the bed so plenty of room if you or someone else moves around a lot and moves the blanket with them. I have washed it already and the stitching held up nicely and looks new still. I really love this set and will probably be ordering one for my daughter’s bed as well.

I did notice some hanging threads on the edges of the shams, which resulted in my decision to not use them. I cannot speak to the longevity, but it works well in my guest room!

I think this quilt is perfect for all seasons: in the summer it can be used as a primary blanket because it’s so thin and then in the winter it could be used as a quilt for extra warmth! Love the stitch pattern as well!! It gives off the feel of a quilt while still being thin and not overbearing. I love that this can be used as a decorative blanket at the end of the bed as well!
