Q: 54x96. Is each panel 54 inches in diameter or is this the total diameter of both panels together? (first time ordering curtains in the US).

Q: Is a special curtain rod needed for these heavyweight curtains? I want to hang a blackout curtain behind them as well so worried the weight will be too much for most curtain rods out there.

A: We would recommend using a steamer, iron on a cool setting, or tumble dry on low heat for a few minutes to remove wrinkles/creases.

A: These are not thermal panels and are not constructed to keep the cold out. You could hang with a thermal liner behind it though.

Positives - they are heavyweight and should hang and drape nicely. The fabric is gorgeous and the color is spot on. I didn't realize the curtains were not lined. I'd rate them as a medium plus for light blocking, lining would have helped. The price was great. I'd buy them again.

Target had the best price for these heavyweight velvet panels. It comes with two in a pack and the length we needed. I first ordered the silver but it was not the same as pictured so I returned them and ordered the dark gray and they are PERFECT! I hope this helps anyone stuck between the silver or dark gray, the dark gray has a light silver tint and it's not as pictured but other than that we love them. Looks very well made!

Purchased the darker gray color but in reality they are a light/medium shiny silver color. Fabric soft but just ok. Disappointed in color 🫤 and as others have mentioned, they do need to be steamed before hanging.

I have black blackout linen curtains behind these GREY blackout velvet curtains. I took the picture during sunlight so you can clearly see these aren't really blackout. You can see the sunlight peeking thru. Tab top blackout curtains must be hung many inches above the windowpane for effect. Unfortunately I'm not moving my rods up I need a new plan.

These look fine but they block out way more light than I expected. I ordered the teal color. We were looking to block out a neighbor’s outside light from coming into our bedroom and it does that and more. I could take or leave the look. They are fine for what they are. You will want to iron them after shipping.
