Q: What is the wt capacity with this bed frame only having 4 supporting slats? Will more slats need to be purchased to increase wt capacity? if so how many more will be needed and what would the new wt capacity be with adding more supporting slats?

A: This bed requires a box spring. Please note our product is not weight tested, this is an approximate. We do not sell slats separately.

Q: For the QUEEN bed, what is the vertical space measurement between the base (slats) & the bottom of the headboard? I have a 17.5"-tall queen mattress/boxspring combo & want to be sure that no gap will show once the mattress and boxspring are on the bed.

Overall, this is a great bed for the price and assembly was relatively simple. However, if you order the full size, beware - the bed itself is much bigger than a full sized mattress; ours has about two inches of extra space on each side.

Love the bed and the fact that all of the pieces come packed in the back of the headboard. It is comfortable and feels sturdy. The only negative I've found, is the slats that came with the bed are a good 1/2"-1" too long. I could place them in the middle but it bows the side rails out so I had to use old slats from my previous bed.

The best was easy to assemble however I expected a metal frame versus a wood frame. I bought this as a main replacement bed. I do not feel comfortable on the bed because of the very small wood planks.

Good bed for the money. I bought this for a guest bedroom, so haven't slept in it myself. The one guest that has had no complaints. The headboard seems a little flexy, so I'm not sure I'd want to lean on it without a wall behind it to lend support. But the bed itself doesn't feel like it's going to collapse or anything. Excuse the book piles, I just moved in, and haven't decided where to put the book shelf yet.

This is my first bed ever and it is really a great bed. It was so easy to put together, the headboard is pretty comfortable, it's supportive of my mattress and box spring and I sleep much better now that my bed is not on the floor. Glad I didn't waste money
