The sauce is thick and a tad sweet, not bad at all! Meat was fine for a frozen meal. Preparation advice - if you do it in the microwave, test it at the end of the 1st four minutes to see if it even needs more time. I followed the instructions and think the extra minute and a half overcooked everything. Broccoli shrunk to bits and pieces. Maybe 30-45 more seconds, not a minute and a half (microwave depending)

I don't know what they ddi to the recipe, but it is not the same. This was so hard to finish. It tasted HORRIBLY. Steak pieces were rock hard. Won't even get into the after taste - just avoid this item.

I bought several of these and the quality and quantity was very poor! When it comes to frozen meals etc Marie Callendender’s is supposed to be at the top of the heap! This failed miserably! It lacked flavor and it had maybe 4 small pieces of meat and two pieces of broccoli in each of them and barely any rice! I bought Banquet Big bowls at the same time and one bowl made 3 meals compared to this and the taste and quality was 10 times better! There is work to be done with this product because this was a big fail!

It says savory sauce but it tastes sweet. I don't know why you feel the need to put all the sugar in there but if it says Savory I expect savory. Also the beef not great and not enough of it. You have too much rice not enough broccoli and beef

Very easy and quick meal, or snack, great for a person who lives alone or kids, ( I can easily eat 2, but I eat A LOT! ) added a little garlic, pepper, and soy sauce, but I do that to ALL Asian foods I eat!!!

I've only eaten Beef and broccoli as an Asian dish. This was just beef, broccoli and rice in a beef gravy. I would have loved it if Ms. Callender had used some Asian spices. I was disappointed. PS I ordered the Shepherds pie via Instacart, and this was a substitution. But hey, I had to eat!

One of my regular picks for a quick meal. The beef is always tender if a bit light on flavor. Can't beat it for a 6 minute freezer to table choice. The rice is on point without any chewiness. Lacks a bit on the amount of broccoli but what there is I of good quality and not tough.

Usually it's 5 star. Every now and then I'll get one with gristle in the beef. Not terribly often. The sauce is delicious and the beef is more tender than any other frozen beef products I've tried.

It has a great beef and broccoli flavor. It isn’t soggy or mushy at all. I like that it has enough of the sauce so it isn’t dried out at all. Some of the beef pieces can be a little chewy and there really isn’t a lot of broccoli just little pieces of broccoli but in general it’s good for a quick easy lunch.

This was my absolute favorite. It’s delicious! However the portions are getting smaller and smaller… seriously 3 whole pieces of meat and maybe 4 broccoli…..

I did not expect to enjoy this, but it was great! The portions of meat and broccoli were good. There was plenty of sauce and it was very favorable. Broccoli is usually an issue with me cause so many frozen bowl type meals use mostly broccoli stalks, but this one had plenty of florets (sp?). The meat was tender and meatly, NO gristle at all!!! I will be buying this again!

I was very excited to try this variety because I’m looking for a beef and broccoli I can buy without having to splurge on a Chinese restaurant. This was very affordable and did have generous portions of food. The sauce had a good flavor and was a pretty good substitute from the restaurant. But it’s still not as good as restaurant so I only give it 4 stars.
