We bought this in white/brown. The top is extremely dark. It is almost a mahogany brown vs the light brown shown in the photos. I had a previous version of this table I loved but needed to be replaced and the new version doesn’t seem to have the level of quality. We kept it because it was on sale and the type of table is hard to find.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS COFFEE TABLE! It is very strong, functional and looks gorgeous!

We needed to replace our old coffee table and my husband really liked the idea of the lift top table. We got this one on sale and we love it. It arrived faster than estimated delivery, it was easy to put together, and it fits our space perfectly. They gray color is a little more brown-gray than stock photos show but we love it even more as it goes nicely with the rest of the room that is more brown / natural. Someone was also asking if Roomba fits under and our fits under perfectly (see the last picture). We hope it will last us a while, it does seem sturdy and a good value!

The experience was 0/5 stars, but the table itself is nice. The grey is exactly as I hoped, not too cool-toned, about 25% darker than my dove grey leather sofa set. My style isn't farmhouse and this works in my minimal, nature-inspired, calming style. The minor problem is that the bottom shelf came with a chunk out of it, like a dent with no finishing on it gauged out (about 1inch long). The major problem is that this thing was absolutely covered in fibreglass! The table is mostly assembled, the legs are inside the lift shelf, the lift mechanism is all assembled, so you just have to attach the bottom legs to the top and the bottom. There is minimal packaging material, just two long sheets of styrofoam and a bit more padding in the corners. I believe the manufacturer literally took a packet of fibreglass and sprinkled it inside the box before taping it up (as flame retardant?). About 2 cups worth of fibreglass! The tops and bottoms of both the top and bottom shelves/pieces were absolutely coated in fibreglass particles. Like a film. I don't understand how this is legal? Zinus is being sued for having fibreglass under a zip cover, where the consumer may or may not open it. How are furniture manufacturers coating the furniture directly. There is a 100% chance the consumer will touch and inhale fibreglass when opening this! It is IMPOSSIBLE not to when the thing is coated!!! My cat, as cats do, jumped in the box right away. Then I noticed the fibreglass and had to force her in a room, wipe everything in our living room and vacuum 100 times, and my husband and I threw out the clothes we were wearing in the trash. Do you have any idea how harmful fibreglass is? If you absolutely love this piece and want it, open it outside, wear a rain poncho or clothes you don't mind throwing out, wear a mask and safety glasses, and be extremely careful to wipe everything before bringing it in. I am not exaggerating, that's what you need to do.

I was a little nervous buying this due to the reviews of others who got it damaged, but mine came in great condition. One of the easiest things I’ve put together although I did need another person to help me filp the table over.

Table arrived in perfect condition in original packaging with all hardware accounted for. Instructions were easy to follow. I was able to assemble it by myself with a whole lot of careful and awkward maneuvering, so I would recommend having two people just because of the size and weight of the table. Only issue was that there was a lot of oil dripping from the springs for the lift top. No matter how much wiping I did, the springs continued to drip oil over the next few days after assembling. The tabletop does come up pretty high when engaging the lift top function, so I find it okay for meals, but not ideal for activities like using a laptop, unless you're on the taller side. (For reference, I'm 5'6" and the seat height of my couch is 19").

Bought the black. It arrived quickly, was packaged well and had no damage. Easy to assemble and nice quality. The soft close top is a great feature.

I searched and found this coffee table online at Target in black after seeing something similar in a furniture store. The item shipped and arrived quickly. The table top/lift/storage compartment was pre assembled so I only had to attach the bottom shelf and decorative lattice. The open/close is smooth and quiet (almost pneumatic) so you can open/close it even with items on the table already and they won’t spill or fall. I am really impressed with the design and functionality. It is perfect for eating while sitting in front of the television! I am giving it 4 stars only because it was slightly damaged when I opened the box. There was lots of packaging so I wonder if that might have happened during the packing process.

We are so impressed by this item. The quality and function are great and it looks very nice in person. The only faults are the top appears to be faux wood and was damaged upon arrival (this issue was fixed by customer service), and it’s slightly difficult to lift the top. Overall defintely worth the price.

Great table. The gray color looks great. When the table lifts up it is about table height (29"), which is a little too high for my couch, but it is still really nice. Easier to put together with 2 people. Would highly recommend.

This coffee table was exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price! Shipping of the box was reasonably fast (1 week for a heavy box) via Fedex and was in good shape when the table arrived. Assembly was reasonably easy as well. My only complaint was the hardware packet was missing 2 dowels and 2 washers. However, a call to the Customer Service number provided with the table resulted in a replacement hardware kit being shipped to me via Fedex with no questions asked.
