I've been using this product for many years and loved it. However, the new formula featuring rice water leaves your hair sticky and heavy. PLEASE go back to the old formula!

Rice water? I knew this wasn’t just a packaging design change. They changed the entire formula. It doesn’t smell good if at all anymore and feels greasy like I can’t rinse it out and it leaves a film. I’m very upset and will be contacting Aussie directly. What a joke.

I used to love this conditioner. Sometime around 2023/2023 they reformulated and took "Australian Jojoba Oil" off their bottles. Then came with "Avacado and Jojoba Oils", and now in 2025 I looked at the packaging again and it only says "Avacado Oil". I did not review the ingredients to see if it still contained any Jojoba oil, but Aussie is no longer advertising that it is included. For years this was my only go to, but now it makes my hair greasy and doesn't have the same slip or softness. I'm very disappointed!

I usually buy whatever large size conditioner I can find that does not have any nut oils or butters for my daughter since she is allergic. Unfortunately this shampoo and conditioner set leaves her hair very tangled and unmanageable. I will go back to herbal essences or garnier I think their conditioners are better.

It smells really good, but it felt weird going on my hair. Usually I comb conditioner through my hair in the shower but my comb kept getting stuck. My hair seems frizzy but soft. Idk it’s okay but I don’t think I will buy this again.

I have fine hair but a lot of it— oily at the roots, easily weighed down by product. I was spending $40 on Verb Ghost Conditioner and was determined to find a drugstore product that was just as good if not better to save money. This is better! My hair feels soft, healthy, and no product build up or weight whatsoever!

I like this conditioner for it makes manageability with my 4C hair easier. It's has a great slip that enables me to detangle while adding moisture to hair. It's a great smelling affordable product that I'll recommend anyone to try.

I have that baby fine hair which is also thin. It's in very good shape though and I still don't have to color it as I have not turned gray. I have been using the Volume Conditioner for a few years now and it makes my hair soft without weighing it down. A great product. I have actually been using Aussie hair products for at least 20+ years and they have always worked the best for me. Thank you Aussie!

I love this conditioner. I dislike the poor design of the bottle! It is very difficult to open-- especially if your hand is wet, or you are attempting a one hand operation. I have dropped this bottle more than once, one time breaking the top off altogether. Surely Aussie can design a more user- friendly bottle, especially the cap. I pour my conditioner into other bottles. This is not convenient.

Not great. It made my hair dry. When I switched to a natural conditioner I could feel the difference in quality.
