52" Dempsey Low Profile Ceiling Fan - Hunter Fan

This fan is nice. It cools the room down and is very quiet while operating. I would recommend this fan to anyone who is looking for a ceiling fan.

Relatively easy to install and it runs very quietly. We really like it!

Remote does not work 50% of the time. I now have to get an electrician back to install another receiver inside the fan. Very disappointing !!

Installed by an electrician in a new to us home. Fan is noisy. Even with my earplugs in and on speed 1 I can hear it humming. The electrician said it was the motor and nothing can be done about it. I purchased this fan from a home improvement store but they had to order it and ship it. By the time I had the electrician install it due to scheduling issues, I am past the return date. Have had Hunter Douglas fans in the past and been happy. Not so much this time.

The setting 3 is faster but could have better if it was little more faster. let me know if that is something that can be adjusted?

Easy install. Very easy to follow directions. Very quiet- like we were surprised at how quiet it is. Seems to be high quality blades and motor.

Sleek design, easy installation of fan but confusion how to program multiple remotes for 4 fans in one area. Need instructions on the FAQ support page.

Instructions were good, a lot of steps in assembly for this fan. Fan looks nice and was a good price, but the fan makes a loud "humming" noise from the electrical when on. My guess is the electrical relays in the lower switch housing resonating at 60Hz. Very annoying for sleeping.

Love my new fan, which replaced my old hunter fan. It is stylish, quiet and does the job in my living room on my cathedral ceiling. It is exactly what I wanted.

Once fan hooked up perfectly. The second went even smoother (better guidance on how to align blades would help. The issue I had is the second fan does not work. Hooked up the same as the first and it does not operate. Can't tell if it is a power issue (new house - would require me calling and paying for an electrician) but it is unlikely as there are no other power issues in the house. Sent a note to support - have not heard back.

This fan is really nice looking and perfect to match the decor in my bedroom. It's quiet, cools the room perfectly and I love the remote.

Just finished installing. Like another reviewer, some of the screw holes were not perfectly threaded, but working slowly and carefully, everything went together. For the most part, instructions are above average. Worked when I first turned it on, so that was satisfactory. Airflow is moderate - blades are narrow, and won't move huge volumes of air. The blades are not very substantial - hopefully they will last without sagging.

We purchased this fan to replace an existing Hunter in our living room. My wife decided she wanted a different color and rather liked the idea of not needing a pull chain. We purchased the Dempsey because it was a low profile fan (ceiling is about eight feet) and we opted to not purchase the light kit. This fan was easy to install. The assembly process was straightforward and even attaching the blades was a breeze. Although, I have to admit, this fan looks sort of like a propeller hanging off the ceiling. :) I wasn't sure if I liked it at first, but it's actually a very nice looking fan and, if my wife likes it, all the better. We both like the remote because all the buttons are easily operated and not having any sight myself, it makes it much easier to tell where the buttons are. We have another Hunter where the remote is flat and hard to tell where the buttons are located for each function. The only two issues I have with this fan are: •bit more motor noise than I had expected. •I wish there was a better way to manage the switch for reversing the fan. I don't know why this could not be done from the remote. Removing the cover is no problem, but if you had the light kit, it would be even more annoying. I don't know how many people change the fan direction, but it's a minor annoyance.

fan is wired correctly and hung correctly, checked 3 times, and not the first time I installed a ceiling fan, but still has loud hum to it.

Quiet three speed with a good air flow on the high speed for our bedroom. I hoped to use both the wall piece and the remote piece, but we had to choose only one. I guess poor research on my part.

This fan is so quiet and close to the ceiling that one doesn't even notice it. We are very satisfied with this model!

We installed two of these Hunter fans in our house. One in our sun room and one in our bedroom. We have enjoyed an alternative to Air Conditioning—saves us money—and a pleasant way to enjoy the outside during the Pandemic.

Arrived on time. Looks good and is very quiet. Really helps to keep the room cool so we don’t ever need to use the AC.
