It looks nice and was easy to assemble. Unfortunately it smells very strongly of chemicals. The smell is so strong that it lingers in the room after removing it. I do not want to put any stuffed animals or toys in it unless the smell goes away after airing it out. I’m giving it 3 stars with hope/expectation that the smell will go away if I leave it outside for a day or so.

In addition, we test for 10,000 chemicals including over 1,000 specific regulated chemicals of concern to ensure the safety of your child. However, we do know that some consumers can be sensitive to the new odor smell of freshly finished wood. Therefore, we recommend that you return your furniture to the retailer to obtain a refund. If however, you wish to keep your piece. We recommend you try the following. Leave a cup of vinegar in the room overnight to also assist in the odor absorption. So simple to assemble! The photo of the blue one absolutely matches. So happy with it, I also love that when my little opens the lid it’s not hard for him and doesn’t slam down on his fingers or head. Our little is only 1 and I feel it’s sturdy m, holds all his learning toys, blocks and anything else he can fit in their.

It was a lot smaller than an expected. But my daughter loves it still. My complaint is that there was bright blue paint on a few pieces & scratches on 3 pieces. One of the holes weren't drilled deep enough to fit the connector in so you can screw it together. Defiantly upset about that. Also, not very easy to set up by yourself. I will not purchase another toy box from this company ever again!!

I like the color and the size. I knocked out two stars because of (1) the weird smell and (2) the wrong hinge was included in the box. Safety-wise… the hinge should be two on each side rather than a big one in the middle. Set up is low because the hinge problem seems to be common.

Has a really strong wooden chemical spray smell . I just purchased it and set it up almost two days ago . The smell is still currently in my sons room to the point that it’s driving me nuts. Hopefully the smell dissipates very soon .

I cannot get over how awful this toy bins smells after being assembled!! It absolutely reeks of chemicals…almost like spray paint? After having it in my daughters room over night with a closed door I couldn’t believe how bad her room smelled I felt terrible and needed to remove it immediately.

If you want a huge toy box, just find someone to make you one. This toy box is very small, but it doesn’t seem like any store sells big toy boxes anymore. It will work for me for right now. I just hope my daughter doesn’t want a lot of toys lol.
