Q: I need a table about 26" high. Can these legs be sawed down and still look ok?

A: Sure. It's really just a nicely constructed unfinished wooden table. We stained ours an espresso hue - looks good with the natural grain of the wood.

A: This item is an unfinsihed wood and is ready to be stained. It is sanded already, but it is recommended to do an additional pre-sanding before staining.

The item came with a dent on it and the edge is gashed. When I try to report a problem I can’t click on that. I’m going to do some more research on options as I really don’t want to deal with having to Rebox this and return and reorder a new one.

Love this table. Beautiful unfinished hardwood console table, looks beautiful in the living room. I may at some point use some "Feed-N-Wax" (Orange Oil and Beeswax) to bring out the natural grains and to protect it, but it's also just beautiful as is. Very high quality wood, easy to assemble with excellent quality screws, takes only a few minutes and everything you need is provided. I purchase the 48", my neighbor got the 60" for her large TV in her living room - both bring a soft and elegant look to the room. The tapered legs are a classy touch as well. Shipping is free, which is a huge bonus for a heavy item such as this. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Once you get this table put together, it is very sturdy. Unfortunately, the bolts and tool included are a joke. We had to remove the bolts because they would not tighten into the legs. Then after two trips to the hardware store, we finally got it put together with bolts that have screw ends (instead of the flat end) and regular tools.

Beautiful unfinished solid wood, quick to assemble... but 1) one screw was defective so we couldn’t attach both screws for one table leg, and; 2) this made us realize, our table came with the wrong legs! They were not the Shaker style as pictured (looked more like the Java style). Target customer service was very helpful with the return, but I wish the manufacturer had packed the appropriate parts! I would have reordered but didn’t have faith that the new shipment would have to correct table legs either. Disappointed.

Perfect size for my entryway. Solid wood although it appears to be several smaller pieces of wood, turned every which way. I stained it and it looks all right. There are some areas that look off because of the different grains. Doesn't look as good as I would like but, it looks okay.
