A: Hi! Each child is different but most babies are ready for the softer (but still firm) toddler mattress side at about 12 months. Great question!

A: Hi! The Sealy Baby Posturepedic Evolution 2-Stage Mattress will not fit a twin size bed. Each Sealy Baby mattress is designed to fit snugly inside a USA standard size crib. The inside of your crib should measure between 27 3/8″ — 28 5/8″ wide and 51 ¾” — 53″ long. Great question!

A: Great question! We do not add fire retardants to any of our products and the cover is not removable. Keep in mind, the mattress does include a waterproof barrier that keeps the mattress protected against leaky messes, odors, mold and bacteria from growing inside.

This piece wasn’t heavy at all and because this Twit did this it tore the protective cover off a corner and she hands it over w/oil, gas & who knows what stain and wonders why I’m upset?!!! Fits a pottery barn crib perfectly, was worried when buying as I had usually used a waterproof mattress that wasn’t soft but the plastic on it, but so far it has exceeded expectations. No bad smells, not too soft like the other mattress I had received. Baby sleeps great on it although she was a little older when I bought it.

This is a two sided mattress, one side for infant and the other for a toddler. The infant side is not firm enough and, in my opinion, poses a suffocation hazard as it is too soft. Infant might as well just sleep in my adult bed. Giving this mattress to my toddler and giving my newborn my toddlers Beautyrest Silver mattress which is firmer. Also the mattress leaves gaps on the sides and corners. See picture. Very comfortable for my toddler though!

This mattress was given to us from our baby registry and I dislike it so much I am leaving my first review. Within the first week or two of our newborn baby sleeping on it, indentions were left from where he slept. We’ve had to flip the mattress already and put him down in different spots on the mattress to avoid furthering the bowl shape his tiny body would leave. The mattress is too soft and I would never recommend this to any newborn parent.

Unfortunately after only 1 months use I need to find a different option as my baby is swimming in the indentation where he sleeps. Don’t feel this is safe for infant sleep, if he rolls over he will for sure suffocate as the indent is so deep, it will cover his nose completely

The bed is comfy. Definitely not waterproof. My son had an accident and it soaked it. The mattress smells like pee. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but something advertised as waterproof, especially for kids, needs to be waterproof.
