Description
Give baby an extra firm sleeping foundation plus airy cushioning with the Sealy FlexCool 2-Stage Crib and Toddler Mattress. This dual sided mattress features a firmer side for infants, as recommended by doctors, and a softer side for toddlers to accommodate growing babies. A 204 heavy gauge innerspring steel core provides premium firmness for baby, plus weight distribution bars help prevent sagging and keep infants well supported. For added protection, a full perimeter border wire plus EverEdge pylons keeps the sides, corners and edges of the mattress firm. The toddler side of the mattress features a light and airy cushioning layer that flexes under baby’s weight for contoured support. Hypoallergenic sleeping layers plus a cotton wrap add additional durability and comfort. A PVC-free fabric cover is soft and breathable on baby’s skin and offers a waterproof barrier for moisture protection and easy cleaning. This mattress passes safety, quality and chemical testing to ensure baby is safe and sound on a Sealy, plus the entire mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions to help create a healthier nursery for baby.

Q: This mattress is supposed to be 2-sided, a firm side for babies and a softer side for toddlers. The problem is we cannot tell a difference in the firmness when we press on it to know which is which, & it isn't marked. They feel identical.

Q: What is main different in these two crib mattresses- Sealy FlexCool 2 stage and Sealy Postoperative 2 stage .? They are priced differently. Total weight is different. What is best & most preferred?

We've used this matres for 2 years and loved it. The only issue is that it is not waterproof. If you do not use a waterproof matress protector it will start to mold and hold stains through sheets. As a first time mom I did not know this. I hate it, because now it has to be thrown out. I'm still sticking with Sealy though for my next matress and protectors. Just a much cheaper version incase I go through this again with the new one. If you have the money, spend it. But heed my warning.

After trying an organic mattress that didn’t fit properly on my toddler bed frame, this one was a dream! So lightweight and firm but comfortable. Easy to take in and out to change the bedding and I even like the snowflake design. This is worth spending a little more money on to give your little one some extra comfort.

I did a lot of research before buying a mattress and I'm glad we chose this one. Baby sleeps on it great! Nice and firm. Love that it has two sides to use the toddler side as she gets older. Nice and firm. No plastic-y smell or feel to it. Would recommend!

My little one tends to get warm at night and I can tell a difference with this cooling mattress. The construction of the mattress is sturdy and I'm not concerned with the mattress peeling or cracking like other brands. I would recommend this mattress for usage in a crib and toddler bed

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this mattress. I always thought that all crib mattresses were the same, but this one definitely proves that all mattresses are NOT created equal. This crib mattress feels more like an adult size mattress as far as comfort. The infant side is firm, and the toddler side is less firm and more bouncy, my two year old loves it! Another little bonus is how pretty it is. It's a pearly white with beautiful snowflake like designs on it. There is no doubt that this mattress is worth the price.

This Sealy 2 stage mattress is great! My 2 year old daughter is actually sleeping better. We have it on the toddler stage. It’s sightly less firm then the infant side. Fits nice and snug in the crib. Very happy with the quality of this mattress!

I have always heard good things about Sealy mattresses and now I know why. I am so impressed with the quality of this baby/toddler mattress. The absolute best thing is that it’s dual sided. It has a firm side that is safe for infants and a softer side for toddlers. So, families can get years of use out of it! Personally, we have been using this on a toddler bed and we love it. Not only is it comfortable, but it has a PVC-free fabric cover that is waterproof! So, if your little one has an accident it cleans up easily, which is a must for our family. It’s also GreenGuard certified so I feel confident that it’s safe. I completely recommend this mattress!
