I use it for my rabbits' fur and it's AMAZING. Picks up more fur than lint rollers. You have to sweep to the right and use the slider to toggle the brush head to let fur drop into the compartment. Good build quality, but I would still avoid letting it within pets' reach.

I like that the hair comes off of our clothes without having to use a lint roller. I liked the door that opens to release the gathered hair. It was a little confusing to figure out that you are supposed to go in only one direction to remove the pet hair and that direction depends on which hand you are holding it in.

I have a long haired cat who sheds like crazy. She's the type of cat who, if you give her a hug, you will immediately be COVERED in fur. I use this to get excessive cat hair off my couch and clothing. It is nowhere near as powerful as sticky disposable lint rollers, but it does make a difference and has reduced my reliance on disposable products.
