I think walking through middle earth without the guidance of Gandalf is easier than assembling these chairs. One of the cushions was not put together all the way and I had to call customer service for a replacement. Still waiting to see if I’m getting it. Once assembled they look good!

Good luck putting these together. The chairs are cute but you have to build them. The directions are terrible, parts mislabeled. It took the power of a dark wizard and a strong knowledge of metaphysics to get them together.

The chairs are solid and modern. Took a bit longer to assemble than expected but had no issues.

These chairs are somewhat easy to put together. The metal doesnt line up perfectly always so I had to unscrew and rescrew several times. The leather color is dark brown like stated, although the photo looks black. For $85 a chair, I think this is a nice chair. I love them, but removed a star for the metal not being flush, and hard to screw in.

We have had these chairs for nearly 3 years! They have held up so well. They are difficult to put together, but they are incredibly sturdy.

Such heavy chairs and took a long time to assemble

Nice chairs, solid, relatively easy to assemble. My only (yet very important issue) is that the small screw-in bottom pieces come unscrewed leaving a serious chocking hazard for small children. About once a week I have to turn these chairs over and re-screw all the ends of the legs - ANNOYING.

I absolutely love these! They are heavy, reliable and simple. Even when I wear shorts and sit on this chair it does not get sweaty/sticky. The only tricky part was assembly as there’s a slight chance a screw/bolt will not fit perfectly.

They look nice, but arrived with incorrect parts. Made it very frustrating to assemble.

Really like the style of these chairs. Legs are adjustable. The metal frame seems sturdier than my previous chair (that one was all wood but a lower quality than these Telstar chairs). The cushion is nice and makes sitting at the table more comfortable than a hard wooden seat. The seat is also deeper than my previous chairs, which my husband, who’s over 6 ft tall, appreciates. I am cautious about poking or scratching the seat cover though. I got the dark seat chair color. Looks more authentic leather than the light colored versions of this chair. Was not hard to put together, but having 2 people helps it go faster and easier.

We have these chairs in our kitchen and use them multiple times a day. They hold up really well and are very durable. On the bottoms of the chair, we had to put padded stickies on them to make them slide well but other than that they are great! Super comfortable and a great size. We assembled 6 of them in one day with ease!

I've only assembled one so far, but I love it! Not hard to assemble, very comfortable, and very sturdy. It matches the table I purchased on another site like they were made for each other. Great purchase!

the quality and design are top notch

I purchsed these for my new home. I wanted something that would go with my contemporary decor. The only color that was available was the Brown Faux Leather and I wasn't sure I'd like it. I decided that, for the price, It was worth a try. If I did not like the brown, I could recover them. My house has the new warmer tones, anyway. I was pleasanlty surprised by everything about these chairs. The metal isn't heavy, but other than that I love them. The seat is beautiful, I love the brown leather. It is soft and plush. Seems like real leather. It even has a bit of a sheen. Much too pretty to recover. The weight of the seat cushion with the back make the chair feel substantial. As another review stated, the back wood grain is quite different from chair to chair, but I purchased 8 chairs, so they blend nicely together. A few reviews said they were difficult to assemble. This is not correct. I am not at all handy and it took me less than 30 minutes working alone to put the first chair together. I took advice and did not tighten anything. I pretty much finger tightend all screws until I was done. I then had my husband tighten everything up later. I had no issuses with thie screws lining up. I did notice that the maximum weight says 225lbs. We are not large people, so this works fine for us. But, if you have large people using these on a daily basis, I am not sure that they will hold up over time. For the price, these chairs are awesome. I look forward to seeing them in my new home. WIsh me luck! Building is soooo slow these days!
