At such a cheap price point, I had some reservations about trying this product. However, the Ordinary is really solid proof that affordable and efficacious don't have to be mutually exclusive after all! I'm so impressed by this product in particular, as it has now become my absolute favorite cleanser! I highly recommend this cleanser for anybody with especially dry and/or acne-prone skin because the squalane formulation retains the moisture required to maintain a healthy skin barrier, without any harsh stripping. No other cleanser has left my face so hydrated and it has smoothed the rough texture I previously suffered from with its mattifying, pore-blurring finish.

I have mature skin and use Estée Lauder double wear. This cleanser takes my makeup off but gentle enough to use on my sensitive eyes! It doesn't dry out my skin and most importantly, doesn't break me out! Love all The Ordinary products that I've used! Very affordable, so it's a win, win on all accounts!

I used a dime size amount 3 times and it's already gone. I dont feel i can leave a decenr review since i barely got to try it. Im not sure why it was basically empty. I really wanted to like this too. But it feels nice and creamy im just unsure how well it works since i didnt get a long experience

It's a milky cleanser that feels moisturizing, it does not dry out my skin. I have super sensitive skin, where most products burn, this soothes. Also, no parfume scent or chemical scent ( if you know you know)

This was the only product I changed in my routine and my skin broke out horribly!! I've never seen my skin breakout so badly and painfully as soon as I stopped using it I'm clearing right back up

I deal with combo skin that seems mostly oily. I use this to remove makeup and cleanse. I rinse it off and my skin feels so soft and moisturized! It also helps soothe my skin when it's irritated!

But it in no way removes anything. I have to use this. Clean myface again. Use it again. An will still habe tinted sunscreen an mascara on when I am out. This doesnt work.

This product does wonders for people who have dry skin. I use this product as directed with warm water and then follow with a foaming cleanser with cold water and my skin always looks gleaming and glassy after I'm finished! I've been using this for over two years and I'm a huge fan.

So, firstly, I did not do my research on Squalane. Your face naturally produces squalene to moisturize your face, but it traps oils in your pores. Squalane is a processed version of this. This product IS comedogenic. It will cause a horrible breakout, it has to me in less than a week. There's no active ingredients to actually cleanse your face. If you do use it, use a water based cleanser after to get the squalane out of your pores.
