This table would be fine but it wobbles and we cannot figure out why. Everything is tightened, and yet here we are. My one pet peeve with furniture!

While the overall product is good, it stratches easily. We hired someone for assembly and the wooden planks were installed evenly. Not sure if the dining table is built that way.

The other reviews were not lying. It took about 2.5 hours and over a hundred screws to put it together.

The top scratches VERY easily. Good size. Parts were damaged when we received it. To get replacement parts we’d have to return the whole thing. Decided to just deal with it since we were already an hour into assembly. Very frustrating experience. We got it on sale, if I had paid full price for it I would be extremely upset.

Horrible quality. It came damaged (both times) It is very fragile and not real wood. It looked nicer in pictures. It was very difficult to assemble. Returned this dining table because it just wasn’t good quality. I was sent another table and it was also scratched. So unfortunate because it was just the style I wanted.

Such a perfect sturdy dining table, I didn’t assemble it but my fiancé and his friends said it was insanely tedious to build and took over two hours but hey at least it looks cute! Definitely need a power drill!

Wow. This table is amazing especially for the price. We still had our chairs from the previous table and they match perfectly! Took about 2 hours for me and my husband to put together. A lot of pieces and like the previous notes state, 80% of the holes ARE NOT predrilled which made the process longer but is not hard at all to figure out. The table is sturdy and heavy. Recommending to everyone I know!

Still needs a table - 3 years ago, Verified purchaser
Holy cow. This arrives on over 20 wooden pieces and about 50+ screws and fasteners. It took to people to get it inside. You need a very large area, multiple people and about two plus hours to assemble. You will need a drill with a Phillips head. There are about 16 holes that were not pre drilled and you just have to guess where the under mount fasteners go. Those fasteners literally hold the table top together, so you have to have them. Called Target to get a replacement piece for the section with the pre drilled holes. They were no help. On the call for 25 minutes and all they said they could do was send an email to walkeredison.com. Yeah, I could have done that! The table is in my dining room in pieces. Never got to assemble.

Pros: gorgeous, sturdy, sleek, large table top. Cons: over 100 screws, some holes not predrilled so I highly advise using a drill (I did not an d it took forever to assemble), multiple people needed for assembly, seating at the ends of the table is a little odd given position of legs. All that being said, this table is an AMAZING value for the price and I would absolutely get it again. Just have a friend with a drill help you and you’ll be golden.

Perfect Rich Classic Piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Choosing a 70” Trestle table is no easy feat, even with the design in mind there are endless variations boasting of their greatness. We settled on the Walker Edison since we already owned a few pieces of theirs that we be been quite happy with. Anyone that has ordered furniture to be shipped knows the feeling of hesitation and defeat when you open up a box to find random dings from shipping that we usually just “learn to live with.” Walker Edison on the other hand, actually knows how to ship furniture and it came with enough padding to ship a 70” egg safely! It really couldn’t have been better, setup involved well organized instructions and produced a stunning piece of furniture. The Rich color is both a subtle grain and easy to wipe - I’ve had many people comment on how well suited it is in our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with this dining table. It is strong and stable, looks great, and assembles fairly straightforward. The box it arrived in is long and heavy, but everything is very well packed and protected inside. I didn't have any issues with damage or missing parts. In fact, it comes with a bag of spare parts (washers, wood glue, various screws, etc.) which I did not even need. The instructions are mostly pictures, but they are all clearly illustrated. There are some additional worded instructions on a couple of the pages but I didn't have any issues or problems throughout the entire assembly. Most everything goes together with wood screws. There are some short dowels that you dab with the provided glue, and lots of wood screws. Everything was done with a Phillips head screwdriver, as I used a combination of manual and powered screwdriver. There are 16 screws that attach with an Allen wrench that is provided. It took two of us about 2 hours to put together. We are both handy, but neither of us found it to be difficult or challenging to assemble. One person could assemble it if they are comfortable following directions and using a screwdriver, but there are somewhere in the ballpark of 100 screws so I'd recommend the power screwdriver if assembling alone. The only minor inconvenience we both noted is that nearly all of the wood screws do not have a pilot hole to guide into. You just have to put a little effort into getting the screw threads to catch the wood so the screw can begin entering the wood. After a couple turns with the manual screwdriver, and once the screw began threading the wood, we finished it off with the power screwdriver no problem. I would imagine the power screwdriver could do the trick right from the get go as well (and probably cut down on the assembly time a little). It was easy to assemble right on the floor. I'd recommend on the carpet (or a blanket) if possible to protect the tabletop as most of the assembly happens with the tabletop upside down. Once it's finished, it's a really nice table with a consistent and clean dark oak finish. The legs are sturdy and I didn't have any issues with wobble as the table stood flush on all 4 legs. Overall, just a nice, quality table with clean, straightforward assembly and instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality table. It’s about 90 lbs and it is definitely a centerpiece in our home. It took a good amount of time to put together, but it was all worth it. There were a lot of screws to connect the pieces and it makes the table feel that much more solid and long-lasting. I would highly recommend having another person help you put it together. If you are looking for a new table, I would go for this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instructions are easy to follow it took me a few hours to put this table together by myself. I recommend having two people when you go to put it together. It's beautiful, the perfect size, very sturdy and really stands out. I love the color of the wood. My only complaint is that I wish the screws and bolts were seperated and labeled.
