[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Walker Edison - Modern Metal and Wood Drop-Leaf Dining Table - Walnut is a nice solid table. The wooden table is nicely made and the legs are metal. It has great quality and the drop leafs are pretty easy just slide the two bars on both ends of the table up or down. The instructions where simple and clear I didn't need my husband to build it for me I did it all by myself. I would recommend it.

It's sturdy, somewhat easy to build (there are 4 bolts that are in a hard spot to work with otherwise it goes together fast), and will work. It's just kind of odd with the flaps on the side that fold down. It's very thin for a dining table and for the price, not the best value.

I love the walnut coloring of the table. The drop-leaf is perfect for when we need that extra space for company. It is very nicely made and a good quality table.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the dark wooden hue with the lovely leg designs. It is exactly what you are getting. The drop down feature is held up through two levers you pull out on each end of the table where it drops down. It did however scratch on the first day of installation. I can fit up to 6 chairs and a high chair. This table is a major upgrade from the heavy wooden table that got passed down from my mother making the table about 25 years old. This table is lightweight yet sturdy at the same time and safe for toddlers who keep bumping into the edges of the table which this table doesn't have! Everyone in my big family came over and loved the table!

I like the option for the drop side leaf’s since I have a small area and can collapse the sides and save some space. The hinges are strong and allow the sides to sit level with the main body of the dining table without sagging when adding weight. The frame work has a nice finish that looks elegant and modern. The entire set up only took about 15 minutes and was easy with basic hand tools. I really like this table!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took about 1.5 hours to assemble this table. The final result is beautiful! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I followed the instructions and it would not assemble properly. The instructions say to assemble the the legs and the side bars 1st, and then to attach that to the table top. When I did that, one corner would not line up properly to attach the leg to the table, it was off by about 1/8 inch. Since the legs are metal and the table is wood, it would not budge to make it line up. I found that to make it work, I had to attach the legs to the table first, and then attach the side bars to the legs. This allowed everything to line up, and fit together properly! The biggest benefit when putting this together is that the drop-leafs are already attached to the table top, so all you have to assemble are the legs.The table is 31.5 inches wide and at full length (with drop-leafs out) it measures 71 inches. When the Drop Leafs are down, the table measures 51 inches long. It fits 2 chairs comfortably on both sides and allows for another chair on both ends, even 2 if everyone is okay with sitting close together. We are looking forward to using this table for dinners, puzzles and games!
