A toner should be used prior to any serums, and allow time in between products for drying and absorbtion. For best results we suggest following these steps. Step 1. Cleanse your skin with your L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect cleanser of choice. Step 2. Apply 3 to 4 drops of serum to clean, dry skin. Pat it into your face gently and allow it to absorb. Step 3. I was looking for a retinol alternative (my skin does NOT do well with any type of retinol) and stumbled upon the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. I'm obsessed. This makes my skin look plump, firm, youthful and glowy. My only complaints are that I wish that it was fragrance free and that they would improve the dropper/bottle. It's a pain in the butt to dispense! Otherwise, I think I've found my skin care regimen going into my 40's!

This product was a game changer for me. I’ve had acne and very textured skin my whole life I’ve tried from the most expensive products to your cheap drug store ones however im highly sensitive to many things so nothing has ever worked only worsen things. And someone gifted me this for a review once and I started trying it without expectations i figured it’ll just cause more irritation and my skin was bad already but I washed my face dried it and put a few drops nightly on my entire face I was just glad it didn’t cause more breakouts or more acne than what I already had and it was bad I mean my acne but nothing happened at first no changes when I was about to finish the bottle certain parts of my face were starting to get better so I bought again and so forth kept using it and I finally reached normal skin or as normal as I could have wished I still use it now and this was the one product that actually worked I’m now 43 but started using it I believe at 38 or 39. And I still look good for my age that I get compliments and this is all I use.

I purchased this less than a month ago and the product is gone.I was wondering why every time I used it I could barely get product in the dropper so I held it up to the light and saw there was hardly anything in it from the start. I like it and it feels good on the skin but for the price it should be lasting way more time especially because a serum is thin so a little should go along way. I will not purchase again for the price for that amount of product. I have another serum from loreal and I use 2 drops and still have plenty after 6 months. I’m not sure how anyone could use 3 to 4 drops without depleting the product in a day. Very sad because the product itself is good.

I am 52 with brown hair & eyes and fair skin that has never been overly sensitive. My biggest skin concerns are age spots, large pores, elasticity and dullness. I used this serum after cleansing with skinmedica and followed-up up with L'oreal midnight night cream (which I like in winter). The consistency and smell do remind me some of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Serum. Unfortunately, within two days of use, I broke out on my cheek (a spot I never really get pimples). I discontinued use for 3 weeks or so and then tried again. Same exact thing happened. This time, I have three very sore, deep pimples on my lower cheek. I am very unhappy. This product clearly is not for me.

All of the midnight products are not made for sensitive skin, period. Claiming all skin types is false advertising. I used the cream, serum and eye cream. The eye cream burned my eyes, the other products burned and dried out my skin. I had an allergic reaction. Just not good.

I was a very faithful user of another (high-end ‘drug store’ product line - always saw results. But as I get older (almost 60), I’ve stopped seeing results. I decided to try L’oreal, and I’m so happy I did. In one week, my face has noticeably (beginning) to firm up, especially the puffy / wrinkly under eye area. I will keep using! I noticed the bottle says avoid eye area; it doesn’t burn or sting, and isn’t sensitive. Again, I will keep using it.

Bought this from the reviews. I waa told 3 weeks. I stopped after 2. I looked older. I had lines and reactions which included puffy eyes and saggy skin . Lines around my eyeballs . I stopped and my eyes look normal . My skin not so annoyed and puffy when I wake up. I look like me again . Seriously I looked like Frankenstein. So what about a few lines. But lines in the softer eyelid no way. Im taking it back fir a refund. And perfume. Why perfume? Thats the real issue thst causes so much damage. Perfume and rough alcohol. You've lost me as a customer.

The left photo is before i started this product, the right photo is my current skin. Both without makeup. I still have acne scars, sun damage , uneven skin tone, etc. but that’s understandable because i never took care of my face. Like no spf moisturizing cleansing etc. So im just starting on skin care. And at this point im starting to repair if at all possible, and or just preventing more damage to my skin. Regarding the serum, two pea size drops on each cheek is whats needed at least for me. At first i was using to much serum because i felt like it wasn’t covering the surface enough. The trick is to use a spritzer and mist your face Before, this will aid in spreading the serum evenly. (I use rose water i keep my spritzer in the fridge) Then i follow up with the midnight cream i dot my forehead my nose both cheeks and my chin spritz my face and the moisturizer glides on evenly, i bring the skin care down to my neck. I still have plenty of serum left and I’ve been using it daily, for over a month

I've been using this serum nightly for almost a month now and I really like it. It does not irritate or burn my skin and it absorbs nicely. I use it after basic washing as well as after exfoliating treatments and I have not had any negative reactions. So far my skin is looking healthy, moisturized and has a nice glow to it. I definitely plan to re-purchase and continue using this serum for the next few months. Also, for those users complaining that the bottle runs out after month -- you only need 1 or 2 pea sized drops of this serum to cover your entire face. The 3-4 "drops" are really not necessary unless you are also applying to it your neck and chest! Try cutting back on the amount you use and your bottle will last you much longer ;)
