52" Jetty Outdoor Ceiling Fan - Hunter Fan

I Like the fan a lot. It was fairly simple to install with only one issue. The upper housing was rubbing against the fan assembly, so I had to readjust the housing and it seemed to work properly. All in all I like the fan, and would recommend buying it.

Love the simple lines & look of this fan. It’s very quiet - even on high speed.

Wonderful fan… high quality but time will tell if it holds up to the elements.

I love Hunter fans, they are the best! But my outdoor Jetty fan has the reverse switch under a cover which must be remove to change fan direction. Since my fan is mounted 10 feet high, I would have to get a ladder out, take a screwdriver to remove the cover to access the switch.

Love it! First saw it at a new Taco Bell. It looked good and really cooled off the patio.

We placed ours outside on a pergola. It is well balanced and relatively easy to install. The finish is nice. I always buy Hunter fans because they are well made, balanced well, easy to install, and priced well. I’ve installed many Hunter fans with all having great quality. So far, we have not had any issues with the rain or water resistance.

It was an easy install for our electrician and the 52" blade span circulates our area quite nicely. It is not loud when we are out there having conversation. Great accent to our backyard project!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good ceiling fan. I've installed many ceiling fans, and all the basic parts are here- no complaints. This fan looks like it will hold up for years to come. This is a great basic fan if that's what you need. A few cautions: 1. There's no light kit that you can get with this fan- so if you want to add lights later- this fan isn't for you. 2. There's no remote- just a wall switch (typical for outdoor fans). 3. The blades are not reversible- they are the same color on both sides- gray. The blades do look like they are made of plastic with slight wood-grain pattern.

I was actually really excited because we just put in all new furniture, painted the patio and had a new deck extension installed. This fan is really quiet for an outdoor fan and pushes a lot of wind which is perfect for the misters we installed. Installation took 45 minutes and the instructions were great.

It creates a nice current on our porch and makes sitting outside very pleasant and enjoyable. The pretty grey matches just about everything and it's very quiet. We love it .

Modern decor, nice color. Quiet, efficient cooling. Only suggestions are updates to installation instructions: 1) name various housing covers, 2) useful tip is to steady numerous tiny screws overhead by pushing through plastic wrap or masking tape until seated into holes.

I ran the electric line up to the celling and had this up in no time. The 6 blades are angled to get the right amount of air movement going. All weather resistant and wet rated so no worrying about the fan during summer showers. I think the only thing that would have made this 5 star would have been a remote to control it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Hunter Jetty Outdoor 52" Fan with the intentions of placing it outdoors on our covered porch. It works well and seems like it will be very durable and able to withstand the outdoor elements. It would work much better for the fan to be placed on a dedicated electric line, since there is no on/off switch on the actual fan itself. There is a variable speed on/switch that could be mounted to the wall. Our situation is that our electrical line has additional outlets attached to it, so if we want to turn on our rope lights that are plugged into the outdoor outlet, the fan comes on as well. This will not work well in the winter when we want to turn the fan off. As far as installation goes, it was a bit of a challenge because it was difficult to get your hands under the mount to attach the wires because our existing wires were not 10" long.

This baby fits all these categories. It was very easy to install (per my electrician) AND works like a dream. Very happy with my selection!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to cool underneath the deck in the backyard - you can imagine its quite 'still' under there, and needed some circulation. Lots of rain where we live, so needed durability as well. Installation is not too hard.

I purchased two of these and love both. There were easy to install and look really nice. No balancing required as both run wobble free. These were installed on my covered patio. Although Hunter told me I could not control both with the one switch, I am successfully doing it. The two these replaced were controled by one switch also. I could see not controlling with one switch if the amperage draw of these two fans was a lot, but I don't believe they draw enough amps to worry about it. We will see.

It moves very little air. Use hightest speed; stand under it; feel no air moving. And isn't that the only thing you buy a fan for? ...and don't expect delivery as scheduled.
