I have used many HA and BHA products and have had no issues. This product burns like crazy. I will not use it again on my face.

Been using this product for about 6 months regularly. Moisturizes the skin well for the price. No breakouts when used on my sensitive skin.

I really like this moisturizer. Leaves my skin feeling dewy with a subtle glow. I do only use it at night. I wish Neutrogena would stay making refill pouches because buying new plastic containers each time is wild.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been a faithful user of the hydroboost water gel. I thought I’d give this a try, but for whatever reason this product just doesn’t absorb into my skin and leaves it feel sticky. I do not have that issue with the gel so I’ll be going back to that.

It felt good at first but after a few weeks of daily use, it started drying out my skin and my face got very red. I stopped and tried again a few months later but had the same problem. While using it, my skin never improved in appearance.

I wanted to try something new that was super hydrating for dry skin. I tried the face wash and it’s sister moisturizer. My face broke out SO badly. I haven’t had acne like that since I was a teenager. All around my hair and jawline specifically. I decided to stop using it and within a day the acne/redness started to subside. I decided to try out Vanicream, which I should’ve done in the first place. No issues, cleaner product, very moisturizing and you get TWICE as much for $7 less. For face wash I’ll just be sticking to my good ole Cetaphil. Also a great product if you’re sensitive. I left this same review on the moisturizer.

Moisturizes extremely well without causing breakouts. My friend spent hundreds of dollars on a name brand moisturizer only to figure out later this affordable neutrogena brand is better!!!

BRING BACK ORIGINAL.. yOu would be stupid not to CONSIDERING the amount of people begging on every site you guys are on. Literally begging. The new stuff breaks skin out so badly. The reason why i started this cream was because of a RECOMMENDATION from several people and they all stopped using it because of breakouts/burning/REDNESS
Bring back the old formula!!!

This was one of my favorite moisturizers for the longest time. It was light weight, fragrance free and super hydrating. I would use it in the morning under makeup before applying sunscreen. I recently repurchased and immediately knew something was off. I’m not sure what the old ingredient list consisted of but I ALWAYS check the ingredients of my facial products on the acneclinicnyc website. Since I’ve purchased this product before I knew it was acne safe but after noticing a change I decided to recheck. The new formula is NOT acne safe! If you are someone with sensitive skin I’d advise you to stay away. Unfortunately I will no longer be repurchasing this product because of the new formula. Super disappointing

I bought this a month ago. I like the Frangance and feel after applying, however, the cream dried out my skin horribly. I tried it for the full month to see if it was just a CHANGE in facial cream, UNFORTUNATELY it was not, i will not OUR-CHASE again.

I had been using the neutrogena hydro boost fragrance free formula for "EXTRA DRY SKIN," i believe it was called, ever since it came out. I loved the feel of it on my skin and it was a go-to day & Night. One of my favorite skin care products ever. Apparently you have discontinued the product and I purchased the fragrance free "WATER CREAM," AND SEE NOW THAT IT IS NOT THE SAME. BUT EITHER IS THE FRAGRANCE FREE WATER GEL THAT I JUST READ THE REVIEWS FOR AND NO ONE LIKES THe new formulation for that ONE EITHER. FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WOUlD CHANGE THE FORMULA. I UNDERSTAND YOU ARE ALWAYS LOOKING TO SELL MORE "PRODUCT," HENCE CHANGING PACKAGING DESIGN AND NAME, ETC., BUT YOU THEN ALIENATE LOYAL CUSTOMERS. I WILL USE UP THE 2 JARS I BOUGHT - THE PRODUCT IS NOT TERRIBLE, BUT EVEN MY FAIRLY DRY SKIN FOUND IT SLIGHTLY GREASY. IF YOU DO NOT BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA GEL CREAM FOR EXTRA DRY SKIN I WILL LOOK FOR A NEW PRODUCT FROM ANOTHER SKIN CARE COMPANY. I JUST DO NOT GET WHY YOU DO THIS TO A PRODUCT THAT IS EFFECTIVE AND A PLEASURE TO USE. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT.

The product name and packaging give the impression that this water cream will provide a cooling, soothing, and hydrating-to-the-max experience. Instead, I experienced the exact opposite: burning, stinging, pain, swelling, and redness. The only nice thing about it is the texture and consistency of the water cream during application. It also caused my skin to break out, so I switched to Clean & Clear Essentials Dual Action Facial Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin.
Love it

I have been using Hydro Boost cream for many years. I like it as an additional moisturizer for the dryer areas of my face like lip area, chin, etc. And love the fragrance free versions of all Neutrogena products. Bought this water cream and it feels like just that. A watered down version of the daily moisterizer. Waste od money.
