Q: The heading says for Dry Skin but the product says normal to oily skin. Which is it?

A: Someone told me years ago, gel moisturizers are mainly best for oily/combo skin. I just bought it to try because I’m menopausal but still have an oily T-Zone.

Q: Can you tell me why this needs to have blue dye in it? What exactly does that do for your skin? I think that's a horrible ingredient when you've taken the time to remove parabens. I returned mine.

Q: This product seems to be water-based and that would suggest that it goes on before a cream or oil based moisturizer, but this has dimethicone as an ingredient, which is an occlusive. Would I use this before or after a cream based moisturizer?

First and foremost I'm a huge fan of Neutrogena Products and I use Neutrogena everyday. My face tends to breakout often and with the amount of products I use fighting my acne, I do need balancing because I get dry patches on my skin. This moisturizer is great because it refreshes those dry spots on my skin without clogging my pores and causing additional breakouts. I like the overall consistency of this product and I feel more radiant and smooth all day long.

It's got the perfect gel texture and absorbs into the skin very quickly, which helps it play nicely with any makeup I put on top. It immediately makes my skin feel rehydrated again, even during these East Coast winters! Even though it's on the pricier end for drugstore, this is totally worth it. The quality rivals high end moisturizers in my opinion.
