Q: Is this safe to use if you have rosacea?

A: Not a doctor but a rosacea sufferer, also. What bothers one person’s skin could be tolerated extremely well by the next. That being said, I think it’s a very well formulated vitamin C and Dr. Sam Ellis (the creator of Prequel) has rosacea, too.

This has improved my skin texture over just two weeks! I’m prone to acne, texture, and redness and my skin is more even with each use. Yes, the smell is quite strong but once rubbed in the smell dissipates quickly.

I absolutely love this vitamin c serum. It does have a strange smell upon first application, but it only lasts a moment or two. It feels amazing on the skin, and while I’ve only been using it for 2.5 weeks I’m starting to see improvement in my skin. I really can’t wait to see what my skin looks like when I finish this first bottle, and I’m already excited to buy it again.

I got tired of way overpaying for a vitamin C serum. I switched to this after reading a review by a cosmetic chemist on the quality of the ingredients vs. the expensive brand I had been faithfully using for years. I'm really happy with this. I think it's just as effective as the brand that is 6x the price and I like the texture of this better. It blends easily and doesn't leave any sticky or tacky feeling. Layers under other products without pilling.

I was looking for a powerful and effective Vitamin C serum to add to my skincare routine after many years of not finding one that met expectations and also didn’t break the bank. This fits the bill. It smells distinctly of absorbic acid (vitamin c) which makes me feel like it is working. I’ve tried to use it ever other day in the morning, alternating with a SA treatment. I haven’t experienced any big breakouts. I’ve been bringing it down my neck, chest and also rubbing any excess on the back of my hands, always pairing with SPF. Results take time but I feel like so far I’m seeing all positives and no new skin issues.

Love the serum - it’s lightweight and seriously brightening. Has reduced my hyperpigmentation and gives my skin a nice glow. Only problem is the packaging - the pump works fine once it gets to me but it seems to leak in transit. It arrived leaky and crystallized at the tip of the pump.

I have. Heard great this about this vitamin C and I have enjoyed other Prequel products. However, When purchased from Target, mine was already oxidized. Vitamin C should be near clear with minimal or no scent. I do not hold this against Prequel but Target. If you want to buy this I would buy it from Prequel online.

Purchased "less than one bottle" ago (still using first bottle) and WOW. All the things I'm going to write below are going to sound made up, but are the TRUTH. I have aging (43), textured, red skin and now my skin is so soft (like so, so soft) and has a bounce; I have even reduced the amount of makeup I wear as a result. The result that has shocked me the most - how much my skin glows after using this product (I've changed nothing else). I also see a reduction of fine lines (which could just be aging eyes, but...) and feel less inclined to get botox again. Which is a nice result. So far, super happy; I will be trying additional products!
