Allerease Platinum Zip-Off Plush Top Waterproof Allergen and Bedbug Barrier Mattress Protector

Feels okay so far BUT the side completely ripped when putting it on the bed! Bad quality unfortunately.

In no stretch of the imagination does this cover fit a queen mattress up to 17” deep. My queen mattress is 16” deep and it doesn’t come close to even zippering on 1/2 of it. The sides of the cover itself are only 12.5” tall/deep.

I have this on our king size bed. It is horriable as its not water proof. My son had an accident and it soaked right through.

This mattress protector is ingeniously designed. It covers the entire mattress in plastic/waterproof material; however, you can zip off just the top part if you need to wash it due to soiling, etc. Absolutely brilliant. No more messing around with trying to get the whole mattress protector off of the mattress and then sliding it back on when you need to wash it. I will never buy another brand again. Beware that it’s an exact fit around a regular twin mattress. I don’t know if it would fit a plush one with an extra topper built into the mattress. I recommend you double check the measurements.

It is really that much better than the gold standard mattress protector. The best part of this mattress protector is the fact that encases and protects the entire mattress, front to back and top to bottom. The zip-off feature makes it so much more convenient to regularly launder the mattress protector as often as possible to limit allergens. Our bed is in the corner of our bedroom, wedged along 2 walls, and it makes it so difficult to dig out the sheets to change them. I have zero issues taking this AllerEase Platinum Zip-Off Mattress Protector off the bed to launder, and it's just as easy to reinstall it. I also love that I can wash this mattress protector in hot water which is an absolute must when fighting germs and allergens. So far I've washed it numerous times with no visible wear. Another thing that I appreciate about the AllerEase encasing the entire mattress is that I don't have to worry about it continuously popping off the corners of my deep mattress. I was a little worried about this mattress protector making my bed hot as it is waterproof and both my husband and I sleep hot, but we have not had any problem with this. The combination of the luxurious plush top layer and the "Temperature Balancing Technology" the product boasts must actually work. I would recommend this product to any one, even if allergies are not a concern for them, this is the most thorough coverage I have ever seen for a mattress protector. It is also by far the most convenient mattress protector I have ever come across because of the zip-off feature. Don't think about it for another second and just buy it now

In the past I have been able to add a good mattress protector to add a bit of padding and encase the mattress. This does a good job at wrapping the mattress up, but only has a thin top layer for added padding. The padding isn’t non-existent. It’s about half an inch of plush material, so it does offer some cushion. It’s easy to put on and take of for laundering and stays put when you put it on the mattress. I’d say this would be a great mattress protector for keeping a new mattress in great condition, but is only average at adding life to an older mattress.

I liked how easy it was to put on, and how it actually fit on the mattress (not loose and sloppy). It makes it more comfortable to sleep on. The zipper makes it super easy to get on and take off. And so far so good with staying clean, our granddaughter believes it is helping her with her allergies. Doesn't wake up as stuffed up as she was. Overall great product!

I live alone and have an extremely heavy, 14 in deep mattress that I cannot lift by myself. It took a while but I finally convinced someone to come help me install it. It was heavy work and just isn't a product I can use as it needs to be removed and cleaned and put on again. So, this is a great mattress protector for a couple that works well together! Aside from the difficulty in covering the mattress, it seems great and looks like it will do the job.

My toddler has some accidents and this mattress protector has saved my bed!! I thought to myself " there is no way that this sheet is going to stop liquids from seeping thru to my bed" and it did! Have had grandkids spend the night & have 2 dogs sleeping with me. So decided to put mattress protector on it. This one fits well & was easy to get on. Doesn't make sounds when I turn over, no drinking sounds.
