A: Hello Yasmin, Thank you for your question. When the hose is packaged, it is wrapped extremely tight in the package for what could be a while. The hose naturally will start to loosen up with hot water flowing through it for the showerhead, but to speed that process up you can soak the hose in near boiling water. Once the water has cooled to where you can safely submerge your hands, knead the plastic in the hose a bit to again force that stiffness away. From there, you should be able to hang the hose in your shower, where it will continue to loosen up further over time. Cheap hose - burnt plastic smell

Cheap hose that reeks like burnt plastic. Great head and look, and the different modes are great, but the plastic hose part is not malleable at all and smells and looks horrible. You can get much better options for the same price point

We recommend that you submerge the hose in a mixture of vinegar and baking soda diluted with water. Leave the hose in this mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour and then remove and rinse with clean water. This should improve the smell that you are experiencing.

Horrible material, cheap plastic. Followed all steps and water kept spouting up from cheap plastic connection. Returned and purchased a cheaper one that works amazing and had no issues installing.

I got this to replace my mom’s old shower head. She absolutely loves it and it’s different spray modes! The hose was twisted up when we took it out of the box but after a few hot showers the hose started straightening out!

Love this shower head! There are different settings you can choose from that makes this so good. Water velocity is strong and the color is really nice. It is a little bulky to hold but I do have small hands.

I received the 5" Contour 9 Spray Handheld Shower Head Brushed Nickel a few weeks ago. We just were able to install it due to Covid that we contacted. So, yesterday I had my husband install it in the bathroom in our room. First, it as quite easy to install which was a big plus. After installing it we turned it on so I said, "Hey let me shower!" The water pressure was definitely more powerful then before. The 9 different settings is awesome. The hose is long enough to clean anywhere on your body. I like that it is handheld...such a plus. After a wonderful shower it as real easy to clean also. I highly recommend others to buy one. I am getting 1 more for my other shower upstairs.

Great shower head. Super easy to install and works great. It adjusts easily for tall people and has a bunch of different spray options. I will probably only ever use 2 of them but the options are nice. The detachable head is a must when you have kids and non negotiable with a big dog! The hose is nice and long. My cons are that the hose, while pretty, is kind of stiff. Like thick plastic? I also wish this shower head had the lever that shuts off water flow completely. I found that feature helpful on my old model when bathing small people and animals.

Its not bad, all of the settings are nice. Transition isnt all that great and its missinf what i feel are important settings. My previous shower head had a massage setting and i definitely preferred it to the settings on here however theyre not bad

We needed to replace the shower head in our master bath and this one was a great choice. It was very easy to install and even came with the plumber's tape! It has a ton of different spray options, and changing from one to the other is a breeze with one hand! The brushed nickel is a nice finish and goes well with most things. The only thing that I find odd is that the hose doesn't hang straight down...it's all twisted and turned and looks funny. I'm not sure if this will change as it hangs there longer, or whether it will permanently be that way.
