I love these totes, along with the half-size version (#1936). They fit my garage shelf units (probably Sterilite, but I've had them so many years I cant be 100% sure.) 2 of these fit on a shelf, or 4 of the half-size units. They hold all kinds of storage - craft supplies, fabric for projects, pillows, blankets, seaonal decor, etc. I have to keep buying more because I give them away to my friends after they see how handy they are. They are getting harder and harder to find, I hope they aren't discontinued any time soon.

Originally I was disappointed that I couldn’t get the putty color but after receiving the dark gray, I actually like it better. It’s better for my space anyway. My furniture is mostly dark cherry wood and this color just blends best. I use these in my apartment to store clothing mainly (I prefer a cabinet over a dresser) although one is used for lots of other things such as gifts, wrapping paper, small tools, etc. I’ve used other similar Sterilite cabinets for years and I’ve never had trouble with shelves sagging. These are easy to move around if needed and easy to move on moving day!

I love these shelves! I have a number of them, and use them for all kinds of storage. But...what happened to the offwhite/putty color? This industrial gray is awful! And I see that you have a number of reviews saying the same. When will you bring back the lighter color? I completely agree with all of those who say the gray is industrial, it's dark, it's ugly. Moreover, it doesn't match the Sterilite shelving I love. The color means enough that I"m looking for other alternatives. BRING BACK THE OFF-WHITE SHELVES!! Thank you.

The upper part of the utility cabinet is missing (both sides and both doors). Super frustrating! If you buy this, make sure all pieces are included before you start putting it together!

I am VERY happy with this unit. I have about 10 around the house and garage now. I am very UNHAPPY they no longer come in the “platinum/beige” color! The new grey is too dark and does not go well with everything like I found the beige to. These will replace the ones in my garage that will be moved to the basement. BRING BACK THE BEIGE!!!

The only color this product is being manufacture is Flat Gray. After much research we choose the colors that follow popular trends and seem suitable for plastic storage or household items. Major retailers also do their own surveys, and request the colors that are most popular in the mass market. Color trends go in cycles, and there is always the possibility of a color returning as a future favorite again.

I bought the 50 quart shelf tote expecting the dimensioning to be accurate (I needed it to fit something in a specific height and orientation). However, it seems that with these totes the dimensions are consistently around an inch shorter than advertised. This has made it so I could not use the tote for its intended purpose. I performed my own measurements with a ruler and found the dimensions of the container to be 14 3/4" x 19" x 14 1/2" rather than the 15 1/12" x 19 7/8" x 14 3/4" advertised. I'm not sure where the dimensions noted on the product are obtained from, but it was frustrating not to be able to use the bin for its intended purpose.

The dimensions listed on our website and labels are the measurements taken from the widest points of the product, typically the lid or top, and include any protrusions such as latches. Inside bottom dimensions are smaller as the product tapers downward. This is the universal method for measuring housewares

Nice shelving system except why do they only offer this in dark gray? I had an older one that was in beige and that fit my decor much better than this industrial looking unit. My house isn't a warehouse and I don;t want it looking like one. Is offering one more color so difficult?

LOVE this shelving unit. I also bought the storage boxes designed to fit. I had multiple computer products with different cables and accessories that needed to be stored in an accessible and organized fashion. This did the trick and made everything look nice to boot! I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Really like this tote. Have purchased a few of them as I need to store more and more items in my garage. Super sturdy and easy to see what is inside after filling. The lid is tight and keeps everything inside clean and fresh. Will certainly purchase again.
