Even with rubber mallet can’t put together. Have put other similar shelves together without any trouble. Returning this tomorrow

These shelves are poorly made and start leaning and popping apart. I’d like to return them, if possible

After opening the box one of the shelve was cracked, the shelf collapsed not able to bear weight. Don’t buy it.

Wish I had read the reviews before I bought it

Easy to assemble. Went together with a rubber mallet in minutes. Very sturdy. Great buy for the price.

Collapsed within two weeks. Almost hit my cat. Didn’t use it for anything heavy. Left with broken items and a huge mess.

Easy to open and put together, very sturdy and fits in small areas.

Would not stay together

For such a simple item, it is terrible trying to put together. The poles fall off when trying to put the shelves on. The instructions should require a small hammer to secure the poles or design them so that they lock into place. Seems overpriced without it.

Returned this asap. The price was great but putting it together was a nightmare. The poles do not insert easy into the holes provided, they fall over after you think you have them in. Once I thought I finally got the shelf together, I left it standing with nothing on it & heard it collapse hours later. Imagine if I had actually set 70 pounds of stuff on it like it claims it can handle. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews!!! This is a great storage shelf. Use a rubber mallet to lightly hammer the poles in. It took 1 person less than 5 minutes to put together.

I needed a shelf for my garage and this is just the perfect size. So easy to put together. I used a hammer for safely securing the poles. Wanted to make sure they were locked in and not loose. I’m happy with my purchase.

The shelving unit is as advertsided and my wife is happier with our cleaner garage! The unit was easy to put together - I ended up using a hammer to ease the poles into each shelf - and it fits nicely against the back wall of my garage. So long clutter, hello happy wife!

The assembly instruction is very self explanatory. I used rubber mallet to secure the poles and it was easier to assemble. Holds good amount of weights. A great fit for my garage.

I love this 4 Tier Plastic Shelf Unit! It was super easy to put together, and it’s very sturdy. It holds a lot and fits perfectly in my garage. The black color looks nice and clean. It’s also light enough to move around easily. A great buy for the price—I highly recommend it!

I was pleasantly suprised with this shelf unit. After reading other reviews, I took their suggestion and used a small hammer to pound in the poles so that they were more sturdy during assembly. That helped a lot with the set up process. It works great in my garage!

I recently purchased the 4-shelf storage unit from Target local store and it's fantastic! It's sturdy, easy to assemble, and offers plenty of space for organizing my items. Highly recommend!

So this is supposed to be easy to put together and the instructions say no tools needed. However, you will need a hammer/mallet to ensure this gets put together safely. It's almost impossible to get it assembled without one since the supports don't stay in place by simple assembly. It required multiple rounds of hitting each corner with a hammer to make sure they were in place tightly. This could be dangerous if something heavy is on the top shelf, since if they aren't really good, the shelf will start to come apart from the supports on it's own, resulting in the shelf falling down. I made sure to really pound each corner down tightly and it now seems to be secure, but I did almost have the top shelf fail and stuff fall down if I hadn't noticed. I'd recommend getting something else honestly, since it could be dangerous. But don't expect to get this put together without something heavy to pound the supports in. and please make sure they are in tightly and all the way.

Won't go together and won't stay together

It falls apart and I can’t even return it cause it’s out of the plastic! It’s very unstable! Waste of money and I can’t even return cause it’s out of the packaging now in really wish I read the reviews before adding to my cart
