This is by far the best foundation I have ever worn. You can't even tell your wearing makeup if you get the right color match for your skin if you want to go with a natural look. However, when I go all out too you can't tell I have makeup up unless you know me. Hands down the best foundation I've ever tried and I always keep an extra unopened box of it in case for some reason I can't find it. Or if it goes on sale for 50% off like it does a few times a year just to stock up on it because I never want to be without it. And for me to take the time to even do this review say something because I never do reviews. lol

I had been using the original formula MAC in NC 50 for 25 yesrs and the color and formula in the new formula is not the same. I truly miss the original formula. Is there any way to purchase the original formula? Please bring it back!

This new formula is garbage. A gritty, oily, settles in all your pores and lines, chalky, cakey, doesn't stay on, separates all over your face, transfers everywhere, and did I mention cakey? Garbage.

If you have skin with texture, fine lines, combination oily/dry or pores…..basically any kind of skin that's not perfect, this foundation is NOT for you. It will settle on all the lines and pores and cake up and completely emphasize all of the issues you are trying to address by wearing foundation. It does not make skin look nice like good makeup should. This new formula is a complete joke.

I love this foundation. I paired it with the Laura Mercier Blurring Primer and my make up lated all night, looking flawless. But I think the color is a bit darker than I expected. I use NC30 in the powder foundation and ordered NC30 for the foundation but this was a little darker than the powder. I will need to exchange it for something lighter and neutral. But the product is great. I will buy it again

I don't know why I never tried the old formula, but I recently bought this new one and I just can't stop using it everyday. It look incredible on my oily skin, it doesn't get shiny throughout the day even if I have no time to retouch my makeup. It lasts my 10 hour shift without budging and my makeup still looks put together at the end of the day. I'm super impressed.

"87 percent skin care ingredients" it's basically skin care serums with tint and sand because it's greasy but dry and sand like at the same time. Passing this "new formula" as the Studio Fix Foundation is disappointing. I've never had a foundation perform as poorly as this one. Separates, comes off at the slightest touch, cakes up, settles in all lines and pores and with all the added "skin care ingredients" makes my skin break out.

The old formula was truly amazing, the best foundation ever. This new formula has ruined it beyond recognition. It doesn't even come close, it's dry and cakey, it clogs pores and emphasizes lines and creases and about an hour after applying it, it gets so oily and touch ups won't work, it will just look even more cakey. I've moved on from Mac in search of another foundation .

I got this last weekend at ulta during their half off sale and I've never used Mac foundation so wanted to try. I was colormatched at the counter and was hopeful it would do as it says and last a while. I wore it daily to work and both Saturday nights. Each day it was not as I hoped but i tried different skin care to see if it helped. I'm 42 and it showed every crease, every line, wrinkle I have. After wearing just a few hours it was dry and cakey chalky looking. So disappointed as I hoped it would be a good switch as it does have a good coverage for redness and scars.

I can not express just how much I hate this new formula! It's so bad, it does not do what makeup is supposed to do; make your skin look good. It does the complete opposite. You put it on and think your foundation is going to look good, but, it creases, separates, gets super cakey and greasy no matter how much you touch up. This new formula is incredibly high maintenance with no redeeming features. The days I did wear it were so frustrating, I kept looking in the mirror trying to fix the creases, settling in pores and lines, separation, cakey, greasy mess it was to no avail. Any area I touched came right off, it doesn't stay on so there's no coverage, only creasing and greasiness where it settles on your face. Truly a shame with what Mac has done to ruin a great foundation.

It goes on very smooth and actually has buildable coverage without settling in wrinkles. I love that it is transfer resistant and doesn't get on my clothes. It is the first makeup I have ever found that actually controls oil. I am 65 and still have oily skin. I have tried numerous makeups and oil control products over the years and this is the only one that works. Most oil control makeups don't go on smoothly but this one does.
