The Lakeside Collection Sliding Glass Door Storage Cabinet

Item is not the most sturdy and many of the screws are visible. Directions to put it together are absolutely terrible. The screws and other small pieces all came in a bundle plastic wrapped together. Not individually packaged or anything, so you couldn’t be sure which one to use where and the pictures (no words) were so hard to tell which one to use where.

It shipped in perfect condition. It has glass on doors, and was packed well. The color is exactly how I wanted it.

It came with one of the windows broken, but this was an easy fix for me as I have friends that work with glass. Read the instructions a few times and get the items needed to put it together in separate containers so you know what you have and where it goes, Have two people (who can work together) to put it together might help - extra hands at times. There is one small gag with one of the doors not closing tight after we got it done, but I think I can live with that. There were some surface scuff on the finish from shipping - maybe - that can be retouched. Over all, for what I wanted it for and what I could pay....it will work for me.

I should have listened to the bad reviews about this product.. my glass for the door came broken too. It fell apart twice trying to get it together. Cheat is cheap. I should have gone with my gut.

I bought this and the instructions were well written. The entire piece is not very sturdy, but the worst part is that the doors barely move and takes 2 hands to open and close the doors. Do not recommend, waste if money for the price.

I bought this because I've been wanting a small cabinet for a particular place in my home and this one had the right dimensions. When it came in the mail, and I was taking the pieces out of the box, one of the glass panels was broken (behind each of the doors is one large piece of glass, not many small ones). I asked for a refund for the cost of a piece of glass, and by the time they wrote back and said that they didn't give refunds on this item because they have replacement parts, my husband had already come home from the hardware store with another. it was $13. Besides all that, it smelled like lacquer really bad--still does, and the quality is pretty low. The wood is rough on many of the parts, especially the cutouts in the doors and the doors don't slide easily at all. If I had seen this in person first, I would not have bought it.

While this cabinet took forever to be shipped, it arrived all intact. Had read reviews that many arrived destroyed. Ours did not. The one thing we wish was of better quality, our the rolling slides at the bottom of the doors. They seem that they will not hold up after some use. We oiled them prior to assembly. Lets hope they last. Also. being on sale helpedus make this purchase. Not on sale would not be a great deal.

My husband put it together according to the instructions, when picked it up to move, it fell apart! The sliding doors fell out of the grooves and when we put it back together and tightened down the top, the screws bowed out the veneer.

My husband and I received 3 of the sliding glass door storage cabinets. We put the first one together, easy instructions. When turning the metal catches for the metal posts on the top and the middle sections would not hold. We have put many products together through out the years and never had this problem. So we tightened them just a little bit more so it would hold the pieces together and low and behold the round metal keepers came through the sides and one of them came all the way through. When my husband had the first one happen I thought it was because he tightened it to hard. Then on the other 2, I tightened and when you did it just enough, or so I thought it did not hold the top on. When you went to move the cabinet the top would come off. So, we reset the metal piece with the arrow up and turned again and we had to tighten a little tighter to get it to hold but then they pushed out the side of the cabinet. I hate having to return items specially, big items, so we thought we would just have to chalk this up to never buying items like this online and just live with it. I was so excited about the products I seen on your website. But now I am very hesitant to by items like this online and I probably wont buy from your site again or refer my friends. I don't like doing these reviews, but just needed to let you know. Here are some pictures of the cabinets.

Bought this a few weeks ago. Was not what was expected. This cabinet is very small and is not sturdy.

I bought 4 of these items two of them the glass was broken when I opened them I was very upset. I need those pieces of glass to be replaced ASAP. Paid for 2 broken glasses.

These cabinets went together fairly easy. The top piece needs patience with the screw in bracket, as the top won't stay on if you don't loosen the screw in E & H. Part K the long black H plastic piece goes on the back to hold the 2 panels on. All in all it fits my condo and holds my smaller china.

I bought these for Christmas ordered 2 one was completely damaged and the other won’t go together completely. I have tried to get ahold of lakeside and only gotten an automatic email response. Do not buy these!!

The glass was broken I'm waiting for a replacement

I bought this a few weeks ago and to be honest I was skeptical. The color pops fabulously and is very eye catching. It was a little stressful for me to put together by myself and I got turned around but I got it eventually lol. Some of our books are too tall foe the shelves BUT it still looks good with them laying down. It definitely helps us with our clutter of books being able to be in one place. I adore it and so does my hubby!

This cabinet is a lot cheaper looking in person than the photos suggest, and the doors and side panels are not cut correctly so there is a noticeable gap in between each door and the side of the cabinet when fully closed. The door hardware appears to be metal in the photos but it is actually grey plastic.

I brought this to fit between both of my doors and it does it small but I was able to get my books on it. I love the color today so much stuff is brown black white and grey. I needed it to pop! In my room which it does. My right door glass did come broken but I don’t think that’s due to the company the box was packed nicely maybe some little bubble wrap would work. I feel like delivery didn’t handle the package with care but customer service was so nice to me asked me my part letter and should be receiving it in the mail. No harm no foul :)

I bought this cabinet because I loved the color and wanted it as a focal point in my living room. It looks great, I’m very happy with it. Only thing, my husband thought it was overpriced. We also thought the back panel middle strip should have been the same color as panel not white so we omitted it. All in all I do love it.

One word: chintzy. It came with several issues. One of the holes for the door handle was not drilled out evenly so the handle stuck out by a quarter inch on one side. My husband spent a half hour sanding out the inside of the hole so it would lay flat. The top of the cupboard came already scratched. One of the screws came with a screw tip stuck in the top. When all put together the doors do not push flatly up against the sides; there is quite a gap. Overall I feel like it was cheaply made which is beyond disappointing since it cost $100. Would not recommend buying at that price!

Bought two. One was damaged other perfect. broken glass and damaged shelf. They expected me to package it all up and send back with prepaid shipping. With all the glass in numerous pieces we threw out glass and packaging so we went to hardward -paid for new glass and are fixing shelf. They should of offered to just ship the shelf.
